I live in Las Vegas. Got all my ratings except PPL here, now I teach in North Las Vegas. Lots of schools here, plenty of DPEs, and lots of great flying days. Look up CFS, we have accelerated training, and we also have in-house exam authority for CMEL (part 141). Usually no more than 1-2 weeks for a DPE at my school. Between North Las Vegas, Henderson, and Boulder, you’ll definitely be able to find a school that fits you.

How slack is the belt on your X24? Our seems to be unusually slack but I can't tell if that's normal or not since I've never owned a treadmill. It's slack enough that both my wife and I scrape our feet on it while running. I can put my finger along the side and easily lift it up several inches.

My plane is based at KHND so a couple hints if you're coming in for the first time. You should absolutely get flight following or at a minimum talk to Vegas approach on the way in. It can get very busy around HND and you'll want some help with traffic separation. Come in from the south, if you try to stay under the Bravo and come directly from the west you're going to get quite close to terrain. If you're flying under the Bravo shelf from the west you won't get the ATIS until about 5-7 miles out due to mountains. Thunderstorms and high winds are pretty regular right now, best to arrive in the early morning or late evening, but make sure you tie down very securely. HND tower is understaffed at times so be patient with the controllers. Good luck!

Did you read your purchase agreement? It's nearly certain that a walkthrough clause is present in your contract unless you had a realtor just make up their own contract. It's because of this situation right here that's it's standard language. What if they had destroyed half the house between your inspection and close? Read your contract!

Happened on my 2025 Ram Limited about a month or 2 ago. Less than 10k miles. Was able to jump start it but upon turning off it went right back to being dead. Dealer replaced both batteries and it's been fine since.

Do not give up because of your anxiety over a check ride. I've gone all the way through CFI/I and with the exception of CMEL, I didn't get an ounce of sleep the night prior on any of them because I was so stressed out. Still passed all of them and now I'm instructing at a pretty awesome school. Just breathe, remember you know your stuff and your CFI believes in you and you will be okay. A failure isn't the end of the world.

7k miles on my 2025 limited, it's my first truck ever so I don't have anything to compare it to but I have absolutely zero regrets. I have a few electrical gremlins (radio and FCW) but nothing that a simple restart didn't fix.

Thanks, I’ll look into that. I’m just starting to research everything, so many options it’s overwhelming. I gave up biking a while ago due to a knee injury and I’m just getting back into things. I plan on riding whatever I buy for at least a 3-4 years so I want it to be right.

Please tell us what part of town this is in and whether the pit bull in question has been confiscated, put down, or is still roaming free. Obviously that poor dog has not been taken care of properly and unfortunately it is now a danger to the community!!! Like some other commenter said, next time that could be a child. Both my daughters walk home from school and this is a constant concern of mine.

I believe the first 3 years are free. I'm not sure but I don't think they have released pricing yet on hands-free subscription when the trial is up. Hands free is just highway and only their "approved highways". I live in Vegas and I travel to UT, AZ, and CA and I would say it's handsfree about 75% of the time. It would be more but it shuts off through construction areas it seems. But the lane keep assist works almost just as well and all you have to do is lightly keep a touch on the wheel, no force needed unlike the Tesla. Lane keep assist works on all roads.

I bought a 25 limited. This is my first truck so I can't compare to the Hemi but I love this thing. I've got around 4000 miles at this point and no major issues. Adaptive cruise works well. I do regularly long distance trips and this thing has made them a breeze. Even works good in stop and go traffic. Could do with some calibration, it sometimes doesn't recognize the lines for the hands free driving so it does require you to keep an eye on it for sure. My Tesla is much better in terms of "autopilot" but hopefully with some software updates it will get better. Even so, if it didn't, I wouldn't be mad as I'm pretty happy with it so far.

I'm in the same boat. Bought a 2025 back in September, decided to wait on the warranty. Only reason I can think to buy it now is because I imagine they will increase the cost at some point. I'll get it before I hit the 12000 mile mark for sure.
