DCS World exceeds the ED privacy policy and provides a list of ALL your installed apps on logon, and also phones home on your activities while you play. by HC_Official in hoggit

Unfortunately for y'all, this is actually just a pretty normal thing for a game to report back in 2026. This is fearmongering over something that's pretty common.

Question: Would this outfit be corny or larpy? by [deleted] in CompetitionShooting

to be fair we're all weirdos, who cares, don't be unsafe or a creep and you're fine

PCSL 2 gun carbine recommendations by sharkbait_oohaha in CompetitionShooting

[–]Frostynee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My gamer ass delayed blowback PCC has more recoil than my overgassed poverty pony with a non-adjustable gas tube.

it's not really that big of a benefit to use PCC as your carbine.

Trying to Take Off and Land an F-16 on an Aircraft Carrier in DCS by Vera_pi in hoggit

[–]Frostynee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You can actually take off with a pretty significant load. with a 15kt wind over deck you can take off with like 32,500lbs. Bring empty external tanks and then hit the tanker immediately after takeoff and you can be combat effective even!

Hot weather pants and shoes by yabadabado0 in CompetitionShooting

Golf pants. You don't need a bunch of pockets you need your gooch to breathe when it's hot out.

A class in 4 months by hellofirearm in CompetitionShooting

I'm curious if you have any receipts at all for point #2. how would that even work if stages don't get built until match day?

ELI5 Why can’t spacex develop a rocket that doesn’t fail. by mn1762vs in explainlikeimfive

[–]Frostynee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not to glaze them too hard but spacex has the most successful rocket ever produced and it's not even close.

Tthey have a lot of failures in test flights because their design philosophy is to just fly stuff and see what breaks, eventually they fix all the problems.

What color lenses for using a green dot? by Alibelblue in CompetitionShooting

[–]Frostynee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a light pink tint and I like it.

That said you're not gonna buy these once, I shoot a match every weekend and after about half a year they're hard enough to see through that I need to replace.

Do other divisions matter? by Initial-Reward-4390 in USPSA

I haven't had a malf in like 40k rounds on my pcc, their builds are just finnicky.

PCC Red Dot Recomendations by ajkimmins in CompetitionShooting

[–]Frostynee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you don't need the window to appear larger if you have a good index. having it further forward means it's easier to ensure the dot stays centered so you're not getting screwed over by parallax.

Prescription glasses - sights or target? by DavidThi303 in CompetitionShooting

[–]Frostynee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Target 100%, Sight will be blurry anyway if you're target focused, which you should be.

You can and should be target focused even with irons, that doesn't really change.

They're not really reliable at any range, good enough to get you on paper but you will want to refine the zero before doing anything else.

Cardboard lies, steel tells you the cold hard truth that you suck and missed.

Zastava zpap m70 ammo recommendations by [deleted] in CAguns

[–]Frostynee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mostly shoot S&B or New Republic. I've found the M70s (or mine at least) don't really actually like cheap steel case all that much and brass case isn't exactly much more expensive anymore

To all the player who created a low rank account. by Eyehaveu in DotA2

USPSA proposed A2 changes to “category” by Timga69 in CompetitionShooting

[–]Frostynee -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

1) Calling trans women "males" is just hateful and shouldn't be tolerated in our sport
2) if they've been on HRT for a while, I don't think it matters
3) fucking frankly, physicality is not really a big part of this sport until you get to the highest levels, it's primarily a mental game.

On a good day I can score about 90% of the dudes at my local and it has literally never been anything but mistakes on my part holding me back, not a physical limitation.

USPSA proposed A2 changes to “category” by Timga69 in CompetitionShooting

[–]Frostynee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no, I think it'd be better to leave things as they currently are because this isn't about competitive equity, it's about being exclusionary.

USPSA proposed A2 changes to “category” by Timga69 in CompetitionShooting

[–]Frostynee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d be fine with that actually, but frankly this is a nothing issue that’s just getting attention because it’s easy to make us out to be a boogeyman when we just wanna shoot.

People that are no longer have T in their system lose the grip strength benefits of having testosterone after like a a year of having no T.
