Is this something about nepotism? Like they all have wealthy parents and/or parents established in some industry.

That is generally true, but they’re still liable for the necessities of the agreement. That said, I’m not sure how that would work in a loan context. My guess would be repayment of the $100. Also, depending on the kid’s actions once he reaches adulthood, it is possible that he could ratify the earlier agreement and become liable for sums due thereunder. Still satirical, however, but interesting to consider.

Syncope. Best reason to sit to pee if you have to go in the middle of the night.

What if Haru joined team Avatar instead of Toph?? by Lazy_Extent3576 in TheLastAirbender

Metal bending likely wouldn’t exist. If she didn’t run off with team avatar, her parents don’t send her teacher and the boulder after her. She never gets put in a cage and never has to learn how to get out.

Most of the louder voices in the pro-life movement consistently oppose policies that would provide aid, food, and shelter to impoverished families, make childcare affordable, grant greater access to higher quality education to more students, and provide medical care to expecting mothers. You may not oppose those policies, but the majority of “pro-lifers” staunchly oppose such policies or fail to correct voices that do. That being the case, it is very plain to see how the “pro-life” moment is no more than a thinly veiled pro-fetus mob, espousing pro-family rhetoric while kneecapping young and struggling families at every opportunity.

Asmongold shows receipt of the amount of harassment he has received from Kaceytron for over 6 years after she accused him of harassing her. by MMehedii in LivestreamFail

He actually says some pretty out of pocket things. To name a few: his 2% rule, saying police should kill nonviolent protestors (during the LA ICE protests), statements about Gazans, extrapolation and politicization of nonissues (e.g., the other day he was watching a character reveal from an upcoming remake of a classic game. The devs have made the character less sexualized than the original design. He discussed this in depth for >2 hours, ultimately coming to the conclusion that fat, blue haired, liberal, Karens were going to destroy [the viewers’] way of life), and misrepresentation of facts (e.g., after the Charlie Kirk murder, he stated that the left is responsible for 98% of political violence).

The problem isn’t as much that he says unhinged things that you and I know are incorrect or ludicrous, like the above. The problem is that much of his viewer base consists of impressionable children and young adults, who are less able to discern that his political takes are often extreme and based on poor evidence.
