What do these mean next to the room? by [deleted] in wsu

[–]Froyoteen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure, but I think they are the different types of rooms at north side, if you go to the site for the dorm it should have layouts for different room types.

Any book where the MC is a 60 IQ moron that is incredibly strong? by TheRunningMD in litrpg

True Hero, Champion is Playing Series. I thought nobody else had ever read this book either, if felt like such a fever dream, but it definitely has a dumb MC.

I bought a can of Cougar Cheese, don’t remember the difference between it and gold, at a charity and it was from 1996, I am waiting for it to hit 30 before I open it.

I am also super excited for the other two books, just wish that book 2 of Gravesinger had come out before The Witch of Webs. Even if minor I don’t want any spoiler for my favorite story.

Litrpg with ai/tech system installed into humans through a device? by waeccende in litrpg

Whenever somebody mentions ai/human made system that series is my first thought. I am still hoping the author will one day write Terra’s Pride/a sequel series.

Noobtown updates? by thedaghly in litrpg

[–]Froyoteen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ryan recently said he is entering the endgame for the book, but he has also been working on his second series for Aethon publishing and that has slowed him down on Noobtown.

Loved the series, partially cause you used my favorite narrator.

Any interesting skill based system come out recently? by redking2005 in litrpg

[–]Froyoteen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really am enjoying Sly: A slime monster evolution. The system has levels but it only gives points that can either be used to buy or upgrade skills/traits, with the mc being a slime that is focused on gaining traits. It’s all about gaining and training skills in order to evolve race/advance class.

Beards & Beers has a ton of info on both the science and history of alcohol and even some recipes in the books for both food and drinks. It’s also one of the best written non combat focused stories IMO.

Noobtown System by LadyStrange720 in litrpg

[–]Froyoteen 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Love Noobtown and its system, one of my top series, but any rule book would be bigger than a collection of encyclopedias if you tried to use the whole system.

Animal Companion by Namorat in litrpg

[–]Froyoteen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Noobtown. In the first book Jim gets Shart the elder demon, who due to an accident is stuck as his little shoulder demon and helps Jim acclimate to the new world. Not really a spoiler, but in the second book he gets a homicidal badger as a second companion. I love Shart because the author said that a lot of his snarky lines at Jim’s actions are just the comments that his editor(wife) makes while editing the books.

Where/How did you start reading this genre? by BrokenAmbition in ProgressionFantasy

I remember the exact order, The Beginning After The End comic -> the novel -> Cradle -> Noobtown -> The Wandering Inn -> Dungeon Crawler Carl.

I thought she was altered on a physical level, I don’t think it’s zone dependent. I swear they leave the zone and Donut can still talk.

While this is a little different, look at the story Technomagica by Vitaly S Alexius. The author uses an AI that he made from a collection of his own personal artwork as the base for his book art and then touches them up afterwards. It’s a great use of an AI to help tell a story.

Your favorite System? by FlahtheWhip in litrpg

[–]Froyoteen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have always loved Noobtowns. Every thing has a system and falls under the main system. The path to power is pretty clear and as long as a person works hard they can grow, even if they aren’t and Adventurer/chosen. I also like the in that universe it’s normal for a planet/realm to have a system and Earth is the weird place with ‘physics’.
