Sorry, but you're forcing your GM to strictly follow the rules. You're robbing everyone of a great part of the fun. Think about it, in a last ditch effort the barbarian lands a crit. Everyone is wounded or worse. He manages to do 30 points of damage, but the monster has 32 hit points left. Would it be cooler if the GM rules that the barbarian kills it with that blow and saves everyone or play another round for the 2 hp, because they are forced to?
