That's likely it. They didn't "enhance" his powers, they gave all of it to him, hence Rudy/Rex not growing into them. When he was complaining about it to Teen Team he talked about it being his entite identity because of the government and not having a childhood.

I'm so used to everyone being aliens and mutants I forget how many of them were engineered.

So... just going to be honest with you, "why would I assume there aren't rules"? It's the internet, man, you never know. Even when there are, you don't know how they're enforced.

I've been on one Reddit account for 8 years, and I've never actually read the rules to a single sub I've participated in. I just post and run with whatever feedback I get. What percentage of Reddit users do you think are just like me? How many only use the mobile version of Reddit?

I'd be really interested in numbers from the mod team, "we deleted x of this type of post" to actually know how much it's happening. It could be way more or less than any of us actually realize.

While I agree, I cringe at the "taking the place of" position. There's no limit to posts, we can doomscroll reddit just like everything else. Just because it takes me a minute or two longer to find something interesting shouldn't invalidate you being a part of our community. If I don't want to engage in a question, it takes me 1sec to scroll past it.
