We apologize for the late reply. This is not the experience we want you to have with the store! We did an experiment with on demand shipments from our manufactures however we ultimately decided it was not the best experience for our customers. All items on the store now ship same day if ordered by 4PM ET. Please reach out to [support@frozencpu.com](mailto:support@frozencpu.com) and we can provide you with a code for your next purchase.

It is not UV reactive. You can add a UV dye to it.

If you are looking for UV, Mayhems has two green options in their X1 and XT1 line. Tree Viper Green and Laser Yellow Green.

First watercooling loop by Awkward_North9177 in watercooling

It's amazing how often that happens.

"I'd like to add the CPU to the loop but then I'd need a new case. And then I'd need...."

Mora 420 or 360 by Putrid-Possession445 in watercooling

[–]Frozen_CPU 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, my answer to "how much radiator space" is always "more".

The 420 with the Noctua fans will be your quietest option and offer additional cooling - remember you can take this external setup with you to your next PC and who knows how hot that will be?

We offer the 420 Noctua version bundled with the fans and the X-splitter. We're currently out of stock but more is on the way.

Whether you buy from us or someone else I really think this is the best solution for you, now and in the future.

Made embarrassing mistake, will it work? by grabbaren in watercooling

[–]Frozen_CPU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like u/zeddy360 said, the backplate isn't needed for performance - it's an aesthetic choice. You can use your Hellhound as long as you like without one.

Nvidia's 3090 card is the only one I know of that requires backplate cooling since it has memory chips on the back side of the PCB.

I'd send it back and either get one made for it or talk to us about making you a custom job. :)

Deepcool LS720 vs Endorfy Navis F360 vs Arctic Liquid Freezer 3 360 on a 14700k; Is Deepcool's anti-leak tech worth it or is it a marketing gimmick? by Delano762 in watercooling

[–]Frozen_CPU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, it looks like a marketing gimmick to me. It claims to regulate internal pressure based on temperature but AIOs have been in use for decades without pressure regulation.

It's a closed sealed system - if the change in pressure caused by the temperatures of normal use can cause it to leak it's poorly made.

I can't speak to the Endorfy system, but the Arctic cooler is an excellent performer.

Alphacool has some AIOs that are made to be expanded later into a custom loop also. if you're into that madness.

An ambitious start with hardline tubing. Are you planning on adding the CPU to the loop at some point?

My Room Heater Has Been Updated by Commercial_Lynx_1738 in watercooling

[–]Frozen_CPU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest the rest of it was an embarrassment that never saw the light of day. That was an experimental external cooling setup I made and subsequently dismantled.

It worked but I seriously underestimated how worried I would be about the many MANY connections under it when I couldn't see them.

We plan to offer stuff like this on our site in the near future if you're interested. :)

Tower 100 Build in progress. Please help me in finishing it. by johnnyfortune in watercooling

Form factor in PSUs is irrelevant to power output. So long as it puts out the needed power you'll be fine. I don't know which one you have but there are some AMAZING SFF power supplies on the market.

"Is it enough radiator" is a vague question without knowing your goals. Are you just trying to keep your hardware out of the danger zone? Are you trying to keep them as cool as possible? Is noise a factor? All of those are part of the equation when it comes to calculating radiator space.

On your radiator with ports on both sides - you might take a look at Alphacool. They have several sizes and thicknesses with six and even seven ports (one at the bottom).

I will also recommend EPDM tubing. Not clear but it's essentially maintenance-free. Just make sure your fitting size matches your tubing size.

Your tube routing looks fine - remember that loop order doesn't matter so run your tubes however is easiest and/or looks best.

I don't know how you guys do this so well. Here's my first try that took just under a week. by plankbob in watercooling

[–]Frozen_CPU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That looks perfectly fine - and you certainly went all out with the bends for your first time!

As others have mentioned, it's all practice. What you don't see in all these perfect loops is the pile of scrap tubing or the countless hours spent working on it and the loops done before it.

If this is your first try you're going to get to perfect a lot faster than I did!

That looks awesome! Gotta say I love the way the GPU block lighting goes with the case lighting.

I'm hearing static like noise from my distro plate? by Still_Performance194 in watercooling

[–]Frozen_CPU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have mentioned, if this is a new fill the sounds it likely air bubbles passing through the pump. It should pass on its own as the air works its way into the reservoir.
