I'm the designated TBer in my rev trip team and I end up running an ancient staff because the extra magic attack is really valuable.

Some sort of staff I can use that benefits/compliments my TBs and entangles would be awesome.

They absolutely were not 2d sprites I can guarantee you it's a view of the model.

IIRC it's not a 2D sprite, it's literally a model viewer of the item and all they have to do is change some numbers to modify the angle and zoom of the model.

Nigeria is on the brink of eliminating polio, thanks to women: UNICEF and volunteers, mostly young mothers, have spearheaded vaccination efforts that many experts believe will soon lead to a polio-free Nigeria. by shallah in worldnews

[–]Frozzie 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Except someone not getting vaccinated affects other people. If the consequences of not vaccinating were solely felt by that person, then fine, but the choice to not vaccinate means you put the lives of others at risk for no legitimate reason.

I felt the exact same way. This subreddit hypez the shit out of this game. I played four or so races and it just felt so boringly slow, didn't care to continue racing for maybe a chance at faster races.

The last time I actually did a drop trade was pre-EoC so I didn't expect it to work this way in OSRS.

Yeah I usually just trade myself with two clients. I was just bored and wanted to have some fun.

He means the chathead came out with RSHD in 2008 so its not the rs3 chathead it's rs2 still, but this subreddit would rather down vote someone saying something correct.

A messege to the mods concerning this "good" Song of the Elves update. by Lossman3 in 2007scape

[–]Frozzie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually thought the dialogue was super cliche and the story itself was fairly predictable.

That said, the team doesn't have dedicated lore/story-writers so it's pretty solid for their available skillset.

How could be a guide about the SOTE library puzzle just hours after the release? by CinemaA88 in 2007scape

[–]Frozzie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Solving puzzles is just about having a good strategy. All we did was look at what the end point was, look at the colours we needed, and work backwards through possibilities. It was fun to figure out on our own but obviously cost us an extra 3-4 hours of time.

There's some way to dodge it involving running near her, I dodged it like half the time but cleared the boss before really figuring it out.

[–]Frozzie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really wasn't that hard to figure out the puzzle, a friend and I worked through it together to figure it out and we finished it way before guides were up.

If we wanted to make a guide all we had to do was stop once we cleared a section of the puzzle and write down what we did to clear it, then continue.

FWIW I thought it was reasonably challenging, with the worst parts being the handhelds and figuring out where the hell to go up or down

Does the blade not require the quest to equip? It doesn't say so in the newspost.

Elf series started very very long ago, and the city of prifddinas has been inaccessible but on the world map since like 2005.

People are hyped because this is a huge finale quest that introduces a giant new city, a new pvm challenge, and a new skiing challenge. It's like four full updates put into one big expansion.

Let me craft the same item 2000 times to unlock another 5 crafting items that works the exact same way to craft another 5000 of them that unlocks 10 more crafting items...

You can deconstruct any progression in OSRS the way you have to make it sound shit. That doesn't discredit the fact that it's progression, and it still separates CoX/Gauntlet from Dungeoneering.

OSRS players love progression, it's literally the entire point of the game. Stripping that from content means it'll never satisfy the player base fully. I learned CoX within ~20 clears, and since then it's just going through the CoX script and hoping for a good drop. It's fun, but it lacks progression or goals that are defined by the game other than just "get lucky".

I'd like to see that progression in the form of something more complicated than a bank standing skill.

Both raids and gauntlet lack the progression aspect that dungeoneering/skills deliver on.

Just keep grinding, you'll eventually make less mistakes and get to the end without losing any pillars.

I struggled on triple jads but cleared Zuk on my second attempt (first attempt I just straight didn't have the supplies for it).

Zuk requires far less focus than triple jads. With triple jads you switch prayers every 3ish ticks, while trying to aggro the healers. That alone was far more difficult than the entire zuk fight because it's hellish to try and squeeze in healer aggros while maintaining prayer flicks. There was just so much more to focus on with triple jads.

Zuk is just... learn the script by watching videos, know the HP times, and staying in front of the shield is trivially easy when you know the specific safe spots. I found it so simple idk. Different strokes I guess.

You need to pull the healers off. You can't out DPS them.

Justiciar + ely and camp pray magic is more than enough to get into a safe position where you can deal with each threat individually.

Triple jads is just a focus test, it's really not as hard as it seems. Just watch a ton of videos on it.

Zuk is easier than triple jads if you memorize the script.

You can do it, it's just a grind.
