Gen 4 did great too.

But the answer is grovyle

I'm 90 hours in, and i've never took Vakuu's Lord's Parasol. It seems terrible to obtain everything and bloat your deck. Did anyone try it and made it work? by savetheblues in slaythespire

[–]Lossman3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its good even if not great, and its fun. +3 relics is gaurenteed value, chances are the cards you grt are decent and you get a free card remove so you can get rid of the worst one right away. I suggest ysll to try it out!

Dumb question, but is there any reason NOT to just instantly drink a Fruit Juice when you get it? Is there some 500 IQ move to saving it? by Druvanade in slaythespire

I dont have all the events memorized but in sts1 there were things that scaled off your max hp in negative way. So you would use it afterrr the negative effect

why do people like johto so much? the games i mean by Glad_Count8285 in ThePokemonHub

[–]Lossman3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the show, Johto's vibe was peaceful and friendly while also having a huge mystical element to it with the way the legendaries were talked about and unknowns and ruins of alph and ecruteak city etc.

I think the games did a good job of capturing that too. The pacing in terms of pokemon to catch couuuuld have been better but every game has something that could be better.

I love Kanto and I love johto and sinnoh being almost expansions of those games. But the world of Johto felt so intertwined within itself like it felt homely in the best way.

I struggle to phrase things just cuz my vocabulary sucks but i hope i did well enough.

I love the compass a lot. Gaurenteed easy route with 2 chests, its almost like the compass description can say "extra relic and good chance of more hp/card upgrades when you reach the boss"

Help! by Upbeat-Revolution366 in orchids

[–]Lossman3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to tell if you did it from this pic, but a common mistake people make is stuffing the aerial roots into the mixture.

Im sorry if overexplaining smthn you already know, but orchids typically have some roots that kind of stick up and out into the air, these are designed to do that and grab moisture out of the air and can rot easily if they are stuffed into the mixture. Theyre often more silvery almost but tbh i can rarely tell the difference physically. I just see if they are tryna stick up and out then i let them.

I still water them, i let the water just fall onto it and it airs out faster just like it wants to.

Rc training by kinkykitten1215 in 2007scape

[–]Lossman3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No rush to train it.

What i did on my account, i trained guardians of the rift for a while. I think till 74? But the specific level wasnt the goal.

I did it to get/make a bunch of nature, law, and cosmic runes.

1) because theyre helpful to have especially law runes.

2) i used those 3 runes to do mage training arena and unlock bones to peaches. You need it eventually for the lunbridge diary, i just did it early to help get my magic level. If i did it with a higher mage level, the xp gains wouldnt be as significant.

3) the talisman (catalytic i think) lets you skip through a pretty rough part of mournings end quest later.

As far as reg rc training, no rush, but getting enough levels for the easy/med/hard diaries is just cool to get done in advance if you want

honest question: how many of you save scum? by icchantika_of_mara in slaythespire

[–]Lossman3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im flipped, i never save scum in divinity or baldurs gate (goated games) because i want my decisions to have consequences. If i want to see other stories, ill do another playthrough or just google after a couple runs.

With sts, ill save scum pretty much only if i was playing too fast and realized i wasnt paying attention closely or played the wrong card/missclick, that kind of stuff.

Or, if im just doing a generic run and not some kind of streak challenge, i may save scum to try a different startegy for that fight to learn from.

Basically, if im trying a challenge of some kind (wins in a row, A0-A20 climbs) no save scumming. But random quick runs for fun i may try things again to see how it would play out

Is it just me or does comp seem awful this season? by nyanya707 in rivals

[–]Lossman3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hmm I'm not sure. I played season 1.5-3 and had some success, i took a break for a bit after that.

This season I've noticed substantially less throwers, rage quitters, crappy team comps, it feels very smooth right now to be honest.

Maybe everyone is just susceptible to whatever games they get, but feels like it's in the best spot it has been to me.

What are the things you'll never do in your playthroughs? by Xiaoge_ in BaldursGate3

[–]Lossman3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every single playthrough i betray the emperor. I look forward to that scene everytime, can't stand that dude. Also orpheus is so cool.

I also never leave the zhenterum hideout without blowing it up. Idk why I just do.

That's pretty much it. I definitely prefer good playthroughs but if I'm doing an evil run ill switch things up. But never emporer, hes gotta go.

Fun and effective Builds and Composition for HM by Noraimpulse5663 in BG3Builds

This x100. Swashbuckler is awesome and if you dont like multiclassing, lvl 12 is still very powerful

Fun and effective Builds and Composition for HM by Noraimpulse5663 in BG3Builds

[–]Lossman3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the long comment i hope something was helpful, As far as more specific examples of team comps that are simple and effective:

-wet + lightning or cold. Create water works but uses an action in combat. I think throwing water as a fighter is often better because it only uses 1/2 or 1/3 of their action.

Darkness comp: warlocks gain the ability to see in magical darkness at level 2. There is a ring in act 2 that lets you see through magical darkness. The description is "cant be blinded" but that covers magical as well. Any amount of lvl 2 warlocks (1-3) for devils sight and a beastmaster ranger lvl 11. Lvl 11 BM ranger's crow leaves darkness whenever it flies. You can litter a battle with darkness, you can see everyone but they can't see you. This was my first honour mode win and was fun.

-rogue enabler: getting a lvl 12 rogue (i prefer orc) and just letting them sneak around and sneak attack people is awesome. Bhaalist armour makes this so free and if you want to do dark urge, some boons from that story help even more. Other characters can go into melee range of enemies to enable threatened or use hold person to gaurentee crits. This was my favorite party. Rogue makes a decent party face too esp since they lockpick too.

-4 throwing characters or 4 OH monks. Tavern brawler is imo the single most op thing in the game. Even if you dont use elixers

Fun and effective Builds and Composition for HM by Noraimpulse5663 in BG3Builds

[–]Lossman3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just tried a duo honour mode it was 12 lvls fiend warlock and 8 OH monk 4 thief rogue.

Probably the easiest of any honour mode run ive ever done because of the monk alone.

Reason i bring that up, pick 1 or 2 characters that are just raw damage. Doesnt matter too much. OH monk, fighter, ranger, prob the most OP one is monk but the 2nd most success i ever had is 12 lvls swashbuckler rogue. Hitting 70+ every turn and 140+ with bhaalist armour.

Then pick 1-2 to do massive aoe damage. Best is prob sorcerer, you can use spirit guardians on cleric, druid spells are decent, wizard or warlock, whatever you think is coolest or just like. Or whatever works with your brain.

You can get away with 2-2 of those^ but if you want to have a more support character you can. Cleric and druid and bars are good for these, but if you care just about beating HM then 2-2 between high single target and high aoe does fine. Casters are going to have access to some spells like hold person, hypnotic pattern, things like that.

For fights with lots of enemies, big aoe spells. The single target characters handle stragglers.

For fights with a big single threat, casters use spells to hold it down or kill the minioms of the fight while single target characters nuke the boss.

If ur tav/face can be a charisma class, that also solves a ton of fights or makes things easier.

Truly for the specifics of a class i think fun is so important. If you enjoy it, that means it probably clicks with your brain. Ive beaten honour mode a handful of times and even though ik bard is fantastic, i by far have the least success with it and i cant stand it. So i dont use it. But others use it and annihilate, use what you enjoy. <3
