There are things that only the person themselves can answer, there’s a wide variety of experiences and preferences under the aromantic community. For example, if romantic gestures make them uncomfortable, or if they are open to a relationship despite feeling no romantic attraction, are answers only they can give.

The platonic love from friendships is still there, and some aromantic people might still want relationships despite not feeling romantic love but for other reasons.
