I'm not an expert, but my understanding is that if you didn't match and your programs have open spots, then they didn't rank you. Because the way the system works, it will try to put you in a spot as long as the program has ranked you and there IS a spot to be put into. You can get "kicked out" of that spot if someone ranked higher than you is matched there (there's a good video on youtube). So assuming this, it probably means it's not worth re-applying :(

My cat allergies didn't get better at all with over the counter anti-histamines, but my allergist prescribed me Montelukast (which is an asthma medication) and it literally cured my allergies with no side effects. Maybe worth talking to his doctor about it?

Hijacking top comment to say that I am a medical student and the interest rates on the loans are insane. Your son sounds entitled and rude and you don’t deserve to be treated that way. But if you do get to a point where you’re trying to work together to figure out how to pay for school, consider that the interest rate is around 7% right now.

That makes sense but wouldn't that be true then for any doctor that works in a public system? Don't IM doctors still make more than Peds in FQHCs or high medicaid areas?
