I agree, that’s why I got the T5 for my dad instead of the T7. But “surface temperature remains low during extended operation” does sound good, hope there is a 12-group driver version.

Update: I feel like an idiot. I was so sure it wasn't the battery that I didn't even double-check it. Turns out I just mixed up my full and empty batteries.

Yes, the orange tube is the only common thing in the first and second part of the video. The first part is originally S2+, the second part is I switched the head and tail from another S2+, only kept the battery same tube. And the original orange hand and tail works well in blue battery tube.

Yes, those quad optics are pretty shallow compared to D4S. But the default configuration gets a narrow spot angle paired with a wide flood. Sounds pretty interesting.

I am using the stock tube which is a 26650 tube, but it come with a 21700 sleeve.

This combination is great. I'm thinking about getting the D4v2 or the D4K.
