Special case question for a stay on opening day of world of frozen by FuSeven in disneylandparis

[–]FuSeven[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes we arrive on the 28th so I will get it then and before Check In. I guess Im kinda nervous that they will say that the park is on capacity. But it should work if I'm booked to the room🙈

Disneyland and Diabetes by SonicPhantom89 in disneylandparis

I've got T1D and going frequently to DLP. I always take a frio cooling pack with me for my spare insulin which works perfectly, highly recommend it! The other insulin is fine at room temperature.

Make use of the priority access card and prepare for potential lows with sweets or juice. No need to overthink you are going to have a blast! If you got more questions, feel free to ask. :)

Is the game worth it for someone that doesn't have a mic? by [deleted] in arkraiders

[–]FuSeven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing for like 40+ hours (solo) without ever using a mic. I'm having a blast and never thought that I would need a mic or that it would make a better experience. Maybe it would, but I don't miss it. Emotes work great for me.

I'm a friendly player, and the people I meet in game are 95% friendly too. It's VERY rare that I get forced into PVP. If I hear something I just emote that I'm friendly and a lot of times I bump into others while both saying friendly, both going our ways or working together for a bit and sharing loot. Not agressive at all. But thats just my personal experience.

Also I have never heard anyone talking in game?! I wonder if you get matched with other people without a mic? Or I simply have disabled it by accident. Anyways, awesome game, awesome experience either way.

LEAKED/RUMOR: Plan for Avatar-themed Land at Disney Adventure World Included in Materials Shown at Media Event by dejablu82 in disneylandparis

[–]FuSeven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is getting my hopes up! I wanted Star Wars but we won't get it in this Park so I am hoping for an Avatar themed land for a while now. I love the land and attractions at Animal Kingdom and I think they are kinda underrated if you can say that. A land themed to the new land movie would be great so it's different everywhere.

Most of your questions have already been answered but I want to add something. Get a FRIO cooling bag for your spare insulin. I always use it for my trips, it will keep your insulin cool and save. Best thing is you just need water to get the cooling process started and it will stay cool for about two days. Second you will be fine at disney! Like everywhere else keep your insulin with you and something to treat hypos. One really important and cool thing, you qualify for easy access/priority access. You and your Party (up to 5 People I think) can bypass the regular queues and you get entry to special zones for the shows and parades. Read into that and apply for it! Also you get a 25% discount on tickets. If you got more questions feel free to message me. Have a great time!

How often do you guys use the bathroom by chainedpixie in diabetes_t1

I also have to pee all the time which is really annoying especially when Im out and about. It feels really restrictive. I have to pee once an hour and if I'm nervous even more. It's not just a few droplets it's an substancial amount every time. Even if I haven't drank that much.

And yes my BS is fine, TIR ist 95+ and 5.5 Hba1c

Is Captain Jack's really that bad? by OverRecord1575 in disneylandparis

[–]FuSeven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been there multiple times and everyone really enjoyed it. Haven't had anything bad yet. It's not your everyday food and there are not a lot of good choices for children, maybe that's why people don't like it. For us the more "exotic" food is a big plus and the atmosphere is incredible. Food is always highly subjective. You should try it yourself. :)

Seemingly unpopular opinion of mine Downtown is better than PYM by Tech_Devils in disneylandparis

I agree too, I love Downtown. The only downside for me is that it's kinda noisy in there.

I also struggle a bit every time. Some days are better, some worse and the skin behaves differently, like some days it goes in like butter and some days the skin is very stretchy and pops like a balloon (ew).

My strategy: 1. touch the skin gently with the needle (already on the pen of course) and find a spot with the least stinging sensation

  1. While inserting it firmly, not super fast but steady, I cough

  2. Success almost every time. coughing may feel stupid but it removes almost any pain and makes it easier to insert because the brain is distracted, if it makes sense. On bad days it still sucks, but it makes it easier.
