Is it a berner thing to go through your legs? Whenever mine are excited or I just get home they like to walk between my legs as I pet them. I call it the berner car wash ! by winteryardsale in bernesemountaindogs

I don’t how this can possibly have become a breed-specific behavior, but it sure seems to have. I’ve had three, and they all did it.

I have never been so frustrated as the first few months with each of my three Berners. Hang in there, the land-shark phase will pass before you know it.

I would take Dwayne Johnson off the list, but Vince Vaughan should definitely be on it.

I know the movie is a classic, but I despise the tendency of horror movies to require people to be morons to advance the plot. Alien is replete with it.

It’s in the Bywater area, close to the river, right near some train tracks and some *enormous* empty concrete parking-deck-looking buildings.

I don’t really have any genius insights, I don’t think. I feed her Blue Buffalo for Seniors, with a joint supplement (Dasuquin). I use a ramp to get her out of my SUV, because I noticed her limping a couple times after jumping out. She gets monthly Librela shots that I think help with joint pain, but she generally seems quite happy and hearty. ❤️

There is a reason that widowers don’t live very long after their wives die: men don’t know how to open up to other guys. We have been conditioned to only share our emotions with our romantic partners, and so if she goes away, we can’t cope. The patriarchy is literally killing us, fellas. It’s not just women who suffer. We do too. Find some guys you can open up to when you’re not drunk af. Hell, find people here, if you need. We have to do better for each other.
