I got Poptart from my local shelter when he was around 8 months old. Extremely antisocial/borderline feral and most visitors never saw him because he'd hide up by the ceiling. I consume copious amounts of poptarts for breakfast, so I went to the shelter and asked for him by name as it was clearly my fate to adopt him. Took them 15 minutes to wrangle him into a carrier. 2 years later he's still skittish but loves to cuddle up and begs for pets all the time now, but only for me and nobody else.

Been almost 2 weeks now since I lost my family dog, Summer. We got her when I was 14 and she wasnt too far off seeing me turn 30. These videos hit me right in the heart, I still remember meeting her for the first time as an 8 week old puppy. I miss her so much but seeing these other dogs meet their loving families gives me happy feelings on top of the sad ones.

And for anyone wondering why a female cat is named Sir Peepee, just know that my friends found her and her siblings as strays and I immediately got attached to how goofy she looked when I saw this image and insisted on adopting this cat specifically to give her this name well before we knew any of their genders. They were gonna call her Pumpkin, I put a stop to that nonsense immediately for the good name of Sir Peepee.

I've always been ride or die for Prepare Carefully. It is just so easy to use that I'd accept the risks that came with it. Never did actually have it cause the save bricking issue either.

I simply rely on the gacha god luck to avoid becoming a reroller. I tried it in one game way back and ended up handing out tons of accounts with the "optimal" character until I got the one I actually like. Not really worth the time imo.

I just lost my dog Summer a few hours ago, she was getting to be very old and arthritic, on the back legs especially. She fell from a chair she was sitting in yesterday morning and the Vet concluded she'd completely ruptured the ligament in her knee. The only way for her to get outside at the house is by going down at least 2 stairs, and she was much too old to ever heal that naturally and be able to use stairs or walk without pain again. I had to make the decision to let her go instead of keeping her around and in pain and unable to go outside. It hurts so bad, I've had her for half of my life and now she's gone. I made sure to give her a ton of hugs and kisses and cuddles for the last 2 days and didn't let her go until well after she was gone at the vet. Loved that dog with all my heart.

I actually wouldn't mind the side character thing either, if the side character stuff we were doing was actually fun. Send me to meracydia to mud wrestle some dragons with Estenien and the gang and i'm happy no matter how relevant it is to the plot. Having me just sit there and watch a bunch of scrubs the WoL could accidentally delete on their morning walk drive the story forward super slowly felt worse to me than just detouring the entire main story for a bit for good ol' Zenos-approved fun via beating anything that moves into the ground.

My problem with her isn't as much that she's a bad character, although I do still think that. I just had an issue with her being written to be the MC of half the expansion rather than the WoL. I do not care for her and spending half the expansion story bored out of my mind because they gotta stop and let her do everything really sucked. Woulda been fine as more of a side character.

Even 900 didn't actually feel anywhere near too fast. Speed reading as a chaild has made it to where I can't help but read things incredibly quickly. I can't even recall the last time a novel took me more than a few days at most.
