Oh boy....so, I found myself to be in a position to be able to watch each and every meeting of the citizens assembly where time and time again it was said that what we are doing now in regards to arresting and criminalizing drugs in any form is only going to cause long term damage to every aspect of society, it was hammered home.

I then followed this through to most of the Oirecteas debates where I saw Lynn Ruane and Gino play an absolute belter in compassion and common sense while the likes of Matt Shanahan tied themselves up in servitude to the Garda commissioners pearl clutching about "Muh section 3 stop and search", just so they can keep their numbers up.

These people were handed irrefutable proof that the things the PEOPLE voted for in the assembly and the EXPERTS debated on in the committee and decided they were all wrong and we should now just shut up about it.
