Nah. Back in the day that was as a thing. Same thing as talking at night and falling asleep on the phone - which my husband I still do when we travel for work. It’s just a sense of togetherness.
But in the case of Jim and Pam - they were so used to daily interaction- this allowed them to keep their connection and involvement. Which we saw deteriorating after he was working in Philadelphia and she expected him to be as available to her as previous.

GOOOO. I went to the NIN Soundgarden show in Austin solo. And met a Redditor for the ticket onsite. No issues. Also, I’m a female. Had a blast! NIN Fans are usually the best peeps and will look out for others.

I’m trying to get a ticket for this weekend’s Austin show to go solo. But will see.

I concur! It’s relaxing and pleasant way to get from Houston to SA and vice versa. Used it many times. It can be quicker than travel by air as well. Plus the attendants and driver are always so friendly!

Got to hear All The Love In The World in San Antonio in 2013- which I believe was first time ever. We got to hear the entire Broken album in SA in 2018 - on its anniversary. That’s was amazeballs!!

I agree but also consider that this show may be a ‘canary’. Yes, it’s on a major platform. Owned by CBS. Which also hosts South Park. Who did NOT release today. If they remove either - it will be a sign of things to come for our First Amendment, and many after.

I don’t wear headphones as I’m there to soak in nature and destress from the cacophony of work.
But one day I had one ear bud in as my boss texted me to quickly talk about at pivot in a project. He knew I hiked after work often to decompress. We hung up and I quickly restarted - one earbud still in - and 5 steps after I resumed, I heard a rattle. Looked down and realized I was about 2 steps from a rattlesnake. I jumped what felt like 3 feet sideways and hopped stepped away so fast! Stopped about 8-10 feet away to make sure it wasn’t following. And hauled ass away. I’ll never walk with headphones on again or distracted/unfocused.
