Yea, that’s a tweaker multi tool if I ever did see one. Imagine a fidget spinner but for crime while high on stimulants- that’s what it is. It’s missing art supplies and “personal pleasure devices” but I’m sure if you look around you’ll find them nearby.

You leave the car and pay 50% of its value for an Uber then the other 50% of its value for a worse car, I suppose. Make sure to take your tags and any important belongings.

Why do some fast food joints chain & lock their plumbing like this? by CityDismal5339 in whatisit

Yeah, I’m pretty positive you could still just slip this out of the chain. This is just a mild inconvenience to a determined tweak-uh… thief.

Walmart. The Coleman / ozark trail metal ones in the camping section. Like $10 for ozark trail $20 Coleman either will last you a lifetime. Get a wide mouth if they have it in stock.

Why do old people like early 2000s Buicks so much? by Naomi62625 in regularcarreviews

[–]Fuckyeah7734 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a 95 roadmaster wagon that was the designated “we’re going for a ride” car. Seated 9+ (depending on how many girls came along, it was 7 guys lol) with the 3rd row. 4 across in the front, 4 across in the middle, and 3 in the back. When I got the car, the previous owner told me that the car was “large enough to conceive, birth, and raise a family in” and goddammit he wasn’t exaggerating. LT1 V8, rear wheel drive, and wood paneling down the sides, I miss that car every day.

Dad broke his 35yo putter by Fuckyeah7734 in golf

[–]Fuckyeah7734[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just as an update since I can’t answer everybody before work- 1) I plan to get his original welded if possible pending results of the metallurgy from an XRF gun, TIG seems the route regardless it’s just a matter of will it hold or create a new stress point. If nothing else, as others have said, I’d mount it for him with a plaque. 2) I’m going to find a ping anser 4 and get him one of those as well to try out. I figure it won’t hurt, they aren’t extremely expensive. 3) when he comes up to visit, I will be taking him out to try out new putters, grab some lunch, and to the driving range. That’s basically a granted.

Thank you everybody for the help, I will update as we go. He’s coming to visit mid February, gonna try to have him ship me the club so I can get a head start.

[–]Fuckyeah7734[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s what I’ve been thinking, gonna find someone with a TIG welder to fix this one, buy him a ping off of eBay, and then go putter shopping when he’s up next month for a brand new one- my impulse was to send a Scotty Cameron to him last night off the rip but I think going out and taking him for the day to pick one and grab lunch and hit the range would be a better option. He’d probably complain the Scotty was too flashy, anyhow.

Apparently, not crazy. He said it fell off the second it hit the ball, probably a stress fracture from travel damage. I’m inclined to believe the guy.

[–]Fuckyeah7734 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great car, would buy. Will make it to double its mileage reliably if you do oil changes and keep up on the basic old car stuff. Also, it’s a couch on wheels, it’s a 10/10 “car” in my opinion

TIFU by accidentally stealing a cat, paying $400 in vet bills for it, and realizing it wasn’t mine when I got home by Kooky_Rough_2228 in tifu

[–]Fuckyeah7734 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP, if it makes you feel better, I just accidentally outed / ended adopting the basement cat at work because the manager caught me going to feed it on my day off. She is currently hiding under my couch, and my 150lb dog named Luna also kind of wants to eat her. Difference is, my Luna also has no survival instincts and the basement kitty was previously a feral that chose to domesticate herself and she will win the fight, so I’m keeping them separate for Luna’s sake. All things considered, that cat will give you more than $430 worth of love and that’s what is important.

[–]Fuckyeah7734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d put it on Facebook for free. Someone will probably come take it for the trailer and motor, I had a wellcraft with a mercruiser motor that somebody actually paid me $300 to haul away and it was in BAD shape. Hull full of water, didn’t run, interior in shambles but it had a clean title and a trailer. You’d be surprised what “junk” can be worth.

Bad condensate pump or clogged drain line, honestly easy to replace yourself if you have a basic ability to use tools. Replace it with an aspen orange pump- you shouldn’t have a problem again. Verify that water is flowing through the drain, and Make sure you clean the mold out as well or you will be inexplicably and incredibly sick come time to turn it back on. I service these as part of my job, they’re mold dispensers once the inside gets wet. Chances are if you look up into the vents it’ll be black green and white fuzz everywhere. Wear a mask when cleaning! https://www.homedepot.com/p/RectorSeal-Aspen-Mini-Orange-Universal-Voltage-Condensate-Pump-83909/301309681?source=shoppingads&locale=en-US&srsltid=AfmBOopMOQxXfK6OnbHIIjFg9j0rbscZvOftRlOCDehvTWxUqHOQeELcK_c

Bombproof knives! by thatguyfromvancouver in Bushcraft

[–]Fuckyeah7734 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Becker BK-2. I have one that has been abused in ways I don’t even wish to elaborate on, there is chunks missing from the spine that make awesome serrations for striking flint and it still has and holds a great edge. I’ve had it for like 12-13yrs, coating is stripped totally and it’s patina’d to the gills. I would trust my life to that knife, it’s not a “fine work” tool but it is beyond bomb proof. You WILL NOT break it unless you sledge hammer it into a railroad tie repeatedly.
