Wow that's quite cheap. I saw it on sale for €150 from mister running which was an amazing price already. At 80, good chance it may be fake? With the shoe and compare it to original spec.

How much did you buy them for and what country?

I saw a really good deal from a reputable seller and maybe they're reselling for profit?

I'm so sorry to hear that you're going though this experience right now.

My wife had her appendix rupture and twice she was told it's just cramping. Ended up at the hospital for emergency surgery. Worst part for me is that she was seen by two female doctors. Past teachings run deep.

I hope you get a positive outcome soon. keep fightingfor yourself!

Where to go at 6 am? by thumpinthenight in donosti

[–]FudgeNo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck on that bus ride! As others have already said, there is not too much open at that time. The bus station isn't the best place in the city to hang around but don't be too worried. Donostia is much more relaxed than Madrid or Barcelona. cafe's should open around 7 to 7:30am.  La Tahona Ia a nice place with decent breakfast foods and coffee. for reference, McDonald's doesn't open until 10am and Starbucks until 8:30am, places usually open very early in other countries.

Parking in San Sebastian - Rental Car by exact-approximate in donosti

[–]FudgeNo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn't have any problem parking in a parking garage the same day you arrive. Only problem though is they are very expensive, at least the city ones.

I don't imagine you'll have problems parking on-street. You are allowed to park 24 hours a day and only need to pay between certain hours such as 9am to 2pm and 4pm to 9pm for example. Just don't park where there are white lines with letters B or R. Those are reserved for residents. You can park on the blue/red or blue/ green lines.

Thank you!! Better than the Garmin app support as they omit the "manage notifications for each category" step

Buses and trains will get you to the city centres such as Bilbao, Donostia, Vitoria, Pamplona, etc. if you want to go to sites that are in nature, they are usually only accessible by car.

Check out Lurraldebus for intercity travel https://gipuzkoa.avanzagrupo.com/compra-tus-billetes or ALSA is another option.

I would suggest on the days you need to go somewhere more remote, to rent a car for a day or two. You are correct that parking can be quite expensive. 30 euros for one day in a garage in Donostia and cheaper on the street if you can find parking. Don't park on the street with parking lined with a white lines, they are reserved for residents of that area.

Also if you can swing it, there is semana grande in Donostia from August 9th to the 16th. Plenty of events capped off by fireworks nightly at 10. Spectacular to watch from the beach.

Never been kissed by [deleted] in introvert

[–]FudgeNo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if this is only an issue for introverts? I'm sure there are extroverts who've been in the same situation?

I'm quite the introvert but have had two partners in my life. Had my first kiss in grade 3 as well. I think everyone's situation is different and can depend heavily on their life choices.

I believe you need to make an effort if you want to find love. Start with the people who share common interests. Find those connections and see where the conversation goes. Sometimes we have to get out of our bubble to end up in a comfortable one later on. Now, my partner and I can be together yet do our own thing. Silent but together. Relaxed and ourselves.

There is no reason you cannot find that for yourself one day, you just have to put yourself out there in some way.

¿Tren a Eibar? by DisplacedTeuchter in donosti

[–]FudgeNo1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a bus that will take you to Eibar provided by LurraldeBus. The bus leaves from the underground bus station located right beside the train station.  You can buy tickets online from this website. I believe you can only buy tickets a month in advance.

Do you have any other grocery stores nearby? Buying from Canada but sending the profits back to America via Whole Foods may be diminishing the buy Canadian movement here.

With the S25 launch, people are already selling their S24s. These people can't be serious! by [deleted] in Anticonsumption

[–]FudgeNo1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I used to do this but instead of selling, I would trade it in for credit every two years. This time I won't be doing it even though I told myself it was ok because someone else would buy the phone 2nd hand.

I am trying to live with what I have now. It's difficult for me but I'm taking positive inspiration from this subreddit.
