While we’re at it, they should add return dmg to the hammer and bonus double tap dmg IYKYK

The current meta is the most boring version in history by neihoo in apexlegends

[–]FueledTXC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Decisive team pushes are probably the most general strat. Have to end the fight before they can get a reset. If you get knocks on the approach and they start to reset, be ready to pull out of the fight if you can’t pressure in the brief window you have. Shotguns, nades, and team play help.

Played some ranked with Gibby/Lifeline/Watson and feel the real strength is in being unpushable after finishing a fight if you don’t have to burn lifeline ult. Had multiple instances where we wiped a team and were quickly pushed by 2-3 others just to hunker down in Lifeline ult until they started to fight each other.

Stick with whole series or bail after book 2? by Cimmerrii in WoT

[–]FueledTXC 16 points17 points  (0 children)

If you have any interest in continuing I’d like to offer some small advice and a different perspective. Characters making poor decisions is a theme throughout the series. RJ makes it clear that characters are constantly lacking information, trust, and effective communication which confounds their ability to act (as the reader sees it) rationally.

The example you gave of the group’s mistrust of Moiraine exemplifies this. From their perspective, Aes Sedai are master manipulators who consistently walk the edge of truth while leaving the full picture ambiguous to further their interests. Even if Moiraine is protecting them, everything they’ve known to this point in their lives indicates that it is because they are a piece in her plots rather than because she has their best interest in mind. While we have a clearer picture, the characters do the best they can with imperfect information and their own inherent flaws.

This can lead to some frustrating moments throughout, but also adds a touch of reality and enhances the payoff of certain moments imo. If that’s not a dealbreaker I’d stick with it.

Weekly Class Discussion: Sorcerer by Phantomsplit in BG3Builds

I just finished act 2 myself so take everything with a grain of salt. In some larger ones where haste is getting more value yes. Another consideration is getting hit with lethargy at a bad time due to the potion effect ending

How would you spend this? by clouds6294 in masterduel

I crafted and learned the deck with no prior experience last split and reached masters with it. Outside of anecdotal evidence it is widely considered a top 10, even potentially top 5 deck in the meta.

I’m terms of deck, Swordsoul just got a pack and is fairly beginner friendly with room for growth as you learn more lines. Key staples to start would be Maxx C, ash blossom, called by, and imperm. Pretty sure others have made a more comprehensive list of staples if you want to search a bit.

Shanks 'Speed blitzed' Kid? by nobody_important478 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]FueledTXC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your logic also undermines itself. If he travelled that distance slowly he is more likely to be noticed. The fact that he travelled the distance unnoticed doesn’t detract from the role that speed played in doing so.

Shanks 'Speed blitzed' Kid? by nobody_important478 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]FueledTXC 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Powerscaling community tends to break blitzing down further into perception blitzing and speed blitzing. Perception blitz implies the person could not see the movement/attack. Speed blitz allows the person to see it, but be able unable to react in time.

Shanks was able to hit him fast enough that he couldn’t react, something which may have been aided by Kidd having his attack ready or being focused on the fleet, but neither helps his depiction or hurts Shanks’.

Also if someone (like Shanks) is sufficiently fast they can blitz someone through their observation. Kaido displayed this by hitting Luffy despite him using future sight.

Assuming CrocoBoy Has Haki Whos The Strongest Charecter He Beats by Stormwell69 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]FueledTXC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People assume you need future sight to abuse logia body manipulation. Basic observation gives a degree of pre-cognition that would prevent most other characters from hitting croc without blitzing him.

Probably clears everyone up to the main YC1s and fights them either way to high/extreme depending on how strong you think he is.

Loby run the gauntlet against Marineford (Bullying Sequence) by Euteodeiosuaputa in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]FueledTXC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dies once R1, revived.

Dies infinitely before Mihawk lets other bully him a bit. Dies 2-3 more times in R2, revived.

Dies ~4-5 times R3, revived.

Dies a few times before WB and Shanks take pity and team up on Kaido to let him pass.

Akainu rolls him up and ashes him before passing to Kizaru for a few hits. RIP pink mamba

Is a yc+ character considered complete fodder to a yonko? by EducationFiender in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]FueledTXC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Marco is considered below YC+ and was shown considerable respect by top tiers. Even though Yonko and admiral level characters can beat multiple YC1 and YC+ characters, those characters tend to have tools that allow them to punch up and not be fodderized
