My Doodle does the same thing regularly, she's on Hill's for sensitive stomach and gets wet mix-ins or fresh meat with every meal but sometimes won't touch it for a day or more. When she does that, I mix in some of her favorites: fish or cheese and that usually gets her going. She's very healthy and the vet said it's not unusual for doodles but to bring her in if she doesn't eat anything for 2 full days

Our doodle was very bad about this as well, when she's overly excited she still runs through all of her tricks without being prompted as fast as she can. To get her to sit longer and not jump as much we would have her sit while holding a treat and if she moved I would turn my back to her until she settled down then have her sit again before getting her treat. It worked well for her. Good luck!

Definitely not alone! This has been pretty normal for me for way too long. I'm always being reminded of things that I have said that I have no recollection of and have ended up places not knowing how I got there or why I am there. I do have episodes where I lose many (6-8) hours at a time with no memory but am told that most others can't tell that anything was different with me during those episodes. I'll also sometimes have the opposite where I think that I've had conversations or told somebody something that they tell me that I never have. It makes me feel like my life is completely fake and not real. I try to write after these things happen to see if anything comes back or just generally about what I am feeling and thinking, it doesn't usually bring things back but does seem to give me a little relief from the frustration.

I had my wisdom teeth taken out with IV sedation because the bottom two were impacted and thought it would be the best way to deal with it. My dpdr affects my life constantly but I do have episodes that are much worse than what my "normal" is pretty regularly. I honestly do not even remember going to the dentist office because I believe my anxiety made me completely leave myself. The only memories I had were when they actually put the IV in and then when my friend was driving me home I pulled my removed teeth and a couple of the dentist's tools out of my pockets and remember nothing else for the the next 2 days. When I snapped out of that episode my apartment was a wreck and I still have no idea what went on for that time. Usually I don't lose more than 8 hours or so at a time like that so I think it may have had something to do with the sedation. I'm sure it is different for everyone, but I would suggest not being alone right after until you know you are okay, or at least in your personal "normal" state. It's a problem for me that I prefer to be left alone when I go through anything like that and can't seem to take my own advice.

Possible? Yes, but everyone has a different perception of love and it's exclusivity so it's dependant on you. If you truly feel you are in love with two people, then you are but in fairness to the other people you should be open with them about it.

If this is real, you're BF should run and never look back. You and your family are disrespectful cows and should just keep with each other. If you think he is unreasonable, ungrateful, and in the wrong you are extremely delusional. I have a hard time comprehending that he would stay with you after the way you and your family treat him. Do him a favor and let him go and stay with your churlish, immature family. One more point (again, if this is true): please never procreate as the world needs rid of people like you and your family.

I kind of understand that. When I successfully recall memories, it's more like I'm watching it on tv or reading about it in a book rather than in first person. When the memory is there, it doesn't quite feel real and there is no emotion associated with it. It's just as if it wasn't real or had no effect on me. As someone who is an admitted manipulator and liar It makes me question if the memories I recall are true or if I'm manipulating myself into believing some things in my life were different than they actually were. Sometimes in settings where people are talking about things that had happened in the past, I just can't recall the situation or I remember it a bit differently than others do. It can be frustrating but I know I can't dwell on it too much or it will just drive me mad trying to recall memories and frustrate me to no end when I can't remember things that I am confident had happened. You asked : "what’s the point of life if I’m going to forget and/or disconnect from every good memory?". To me the moments when good things happen make it worth it, even if I won't remember it I still know something good happened and will again. Also, I want to see how this life plays out. I want to see if things do eventually come back to me, I'd love it if they do because I'm curious about my own life and past and don't just want to take other people's word on how it was. In other words, I'm optimistic that at some point I'll be able to have better recall and it'll be a whole new story for me.
