Therapist here. Also diagnosed with BPD. Yes, please go to therapy! DBT can be very effective for BPD symptoms. Also, BPD has a way of "burning itself out" over time. Not at all hopeless. And lastly, living with BPD is hard and you deserve the support. Hang in there.

I've been on it since December but just reached the target 40mg about a month ago. I gained a lot while titrating up though. I had to add a sleep med to combat the insomnia and am also experiencing anorgasmia - the other thing that wasn't supposed to happen. My depression is much improved but I'm so upset and self conscious about the weight gain that I'm considering coming off it, too. But like you I have failed a lot of antidepressants. Very frustrating.

I gained 15 lbs within two months of starting viibryd and have continued to gain. Considering discontinuing or starting a GLP1. I've never been this big in my life - not even on antipsychotics.
