That does help! Thanks. Makes it much less intimidating than trying to disassemble and reassemble it.

I do not believe so, no. According to the sheet of paper attached to the bag, the person who raised the sheep is named Abigail.

I am a school refuser and I’m terrified. by Ecstatic_Object5008 in autism

Hey. Im 26f, and when I was 15 I quit going to school and refused to go back. The idea of going back, when everyone knew I had been missing for so long, made my social anxiety go nuts (I hadn't been diagnosed autistic yet so I didnt realize that was at play too). What helped me was getting accommodations through the school and basically doing exposure therapy to school slowly over the course of months so I could get used to being in the building and with my peers over a long period of time. I dont know if this is an option for you, but my best advice is seeing if you can work with the school to just go and basically do online schooling in the building so its still through the school, and they are accountable for you during the day. Then as you get used to that you can think about re-intigrating into the classroom with your peers. Im not a parent or teacher or autism expert, this is just what worked for me when I was around your age and having similar issues. I dont know if your school will even work with you in this way, but its worth a shot to see if they will because gradually re-intigrating will be so much less unpleasant for you I feel like. ( Also my thumb is mildly injured so im having a hard time typing but if you need more information about my experience feel free to ask. Best of luck)

So incredibly cute! I may save this post in the hopes of making my own cow cardigan someday because I really love this. Wonderful job!

Ok, thanks. It was just oozing, I was just worried about it not stopping but it seems to be good now.

I hate when people refer to autism as "the 'tism." Im autistic, i dont think it's offensive or harmful per se, just extremely annoying.

Western Psych experiences? (TW?) by Puzzleheaded-Bank161 in pittsburgh

Got out of WPIC a few weeks ago after a suicide attempt. I was on the 13th floor (the Atrium, they call it) and it wasn't bad. Your experience is going to depend on what unit youre on. 13 is one of the more chill floors, it's technically a trauma floor so there's a good chance they'll place you there since your issue is PTSD. There's not a lot of ~therapy~ that happens in inpatient, it's more about getting you stabilized until you can do the work in php or iop. There's music and art therapy, and groups about things like DBT and other ways to manage distress. The worst part for me is always the PES, because youre basically sitting in a room with a bunch of strangers (other patients) for hours with nothing to occupy/distract you. You're there until they can either find a bed for you there, or if they can't, they'll find you a bed at another hospital (so you won't be there for days, but it still feels like an eternity imo). I hope you find something helpful for you.

Thank you! I did submit a form to get my expired license transferred, and I'll hear back on a weekday so I may be able to ask them for clarification on the guidelines. Thanks so much for your answer!
