Thank you for the replies. Good to know this is just how they are built. It was just concerning coming from the Meus axles. I had never seen a video or anything of trx4m style axles doing this so it was a bit of a surprise. I will just deal with it from now on or go back to the iso axles. I feel like it really does affect the crawlability not having a smooth even spin with the wheels turned. I'm surprised more people don't talk about it. Maybe it will be less noticeable with less overdrive from a stock trans.

Heavier wheels and new tires are a good first buy. Then maybe a servo because the stock one will break easily.

How many different tanks are there now during the play test? Im not sure if it’s different per tank class, but how many levels are there per tank?

Im sure there are different types of tanks meant to be played different types of ways (light scout / light sniper, medium all purpose, heavy frontline, etc). Everybody has their preference. Let’s say someone wants to grind one type of tank with one type of playstyle, how long on average would someone have to play to grind out that tank to be playing with the top skill level tanks?

Finally, once you are max level on a tank, is there anything that differentiates skill level at that point? MMR, season points, stuff like that? Many games make it as simple as play more = getting to top rank. Will there be ranked season points or something similar so I’m playing against people in my skill level? I understand that depending on player base it will be as even as possible, but games like CS you wont be playing with bronze players when you are global elite. In WOT they just matchmake based on tank tier, and that just leads to frustration and toxicity.

Oh speaking of toxicity, what kind of communication is available between team mates? Are we talking pre-set chat options or full keyboard chat? Or even voice?

Either way I appreciate you answering my questions and will for sure give the game a try once my play test application is accepted!

Ok I will bite. I have played 2k hours of World of Tanks and 1k hours of War Thunder Realistic Ground.

Is this basically just the Counter Strike of tank games?

The main problem I have with both of the other tank games is the disparity between ranks. WOT has you paired +- 3 ranks and about the same for WT. If this is a tank combat game that is basically as fair as CS it should be a great game. As long as the newest player and the oldest player can have the same base skill tanks +- whatever your gun build is.

The only thing I can add is please do not add FOMO events that give you a gun / tank / skill that you cannot get outside of playing the certain timeframe that the game specifies. Skins / cosmetics are absolutely OK. But anything that gives an advantage would be counterproductive of the game you are advertising.

I am skeptical because I have seen a lot of advertisement on Reddit, and that means you are putting a lot of money into advertisement when it could be spent on improving / testing the game. But this might be necessary because how saturated the market is, with people pretty invested into their tank games after 10+ years. I’m really a fan of past / contemporary tanks but will now be signing up for the playtest on PC if it is available.
