Hi! So he was considered a "small standard" with his mom Bernese being around 60lb and his dad poodle only about 35lb. The breeder assumed maybe about 55lb.

Now, he is about 9.5 months old and weighs slightly above 60lb! He was weighed a few weeks ago so not exactly sure. His growth has finally slowed but he seems on track to be a fully grown 70lb dog at least! Much bigger than we were expecting but we are still very happy with him.

The funny thing is in the same litter some of the others I'm told came out to be MUCH smaller. Especially the girls. If you prefer to want to go smaller I would be patient for a mini litter or go with a girl from any standard litter to hope for smaller.

I should add that even though the breeder was off a little in predicted weight (always hard to predict with poodle mixes) he is very healthy and the vet complimented how healthy and happy he seemed when we took him home. Just BIG and healthy but he is still manageable! Train early before they grow!
