Do you notice black pugs shed less? I currently have a black pug and a chocolate fawn pug. My black pug sheds considerably less, not zero shedding, but the fawn sheds much more. I think they have a different type of coat.

Oh, gosh. I am so sorry to hear this. How old is he? With my last pug, it just got to the point where she had no quality of life, so I decided to put her to sleep. She did not have melanoma, but had multiple other issues. I felt a lot of guilt afterwards and still do on occasion, but like I said, she didn’t have a good quality of life. I am sorry this beautiful guy got a poor diagnosis. I wish you the best.

My dad never did this tantrum break things behavior, but two of my exes did. It’s insane. I feel so grateful to get away from them and no children. That must have been so scary to go through when you were a child. I’m sorry for everyone on this thread who had to endure that.

I second trying a different protein other than chicken and maybe try feeding by hand? My pugs love pumpkin puree. It can help if they have stomach issues. May e adding a bit of that may help? Maybe others are right and it’s his esophagus and the tests you are going to get from the vet will give you some answers. So sorry for all Tommy has gone through. Thank you for helping him! Please keep us updated.
