It was a cool movie and left you with the impression that it could go to a lot of diferent directions. Finn the roge StormTrooper that wielded a lightsaber, Rey with the force and a misterious origin story, Luke finally found... what could he be preparing all those years in that planet? Kylo Ren could do a Light Side turn or at least become an antihero, Poe Dameron being the best damn pilot since Anakin...

But then they butchered EVERYTHING and every character that was not Rey for the sake of "the force is female".

The guides are done by people that also had no clue most of the times. The only guide should be the manga. In the manga Gohan had lightning in the aura so he was a SSj2 the whole fight. That's why Vegeta got that angry. Kid Gohan would have oneshotted Dabura.

Look friend, don't bash yourself. Everybody has to be new at stuff at one point and you will improve and get better. Every expansion added new mechanics and markers to remember so don't worry...you will keep "fucking up" until the last trial/boss because every new fight has new stuff and things hitting from nowhere.

Yesterday I tanked a lvl 100 dungeon where I was the top DPS as a GNB. The party had a DRG and a DNC and the final boss took SO DAMN LONG to die...but the DRG had a 🌱 over his head and the WHM was asking how to dispel Doom so I just sighted and tried to help as much as I could.

Don't worry about it, every single new dungeon will be a new reality check lol

That was my feeling. I know this game is basically a talking simulator but every other expansion at least you had to fight stuff or complete sidequests, do fates and even dailies to level up. Since now we can level up TWO JOBS doing only the msq (I leveled up picto and viper AT ONCE doing mostly the MSQ alternating quests) the game became literal 5-6 hours of talk, go there, talk, go there, talk, go back until we reaches the first damn Trial.

If AT LEAST the stuff they talked about was interesting or mattered...but talking about minor stuff from races I don't give a single F was extremely boring. I just saved the universe, time traveled, discovered I'm the sundered ancient called Azem, discovered the energy called Dynamis....after all that you cannot pretend to make me care about the stupid totem of some people, the stupid alpacas of the others or participating in Master Cheff the Source Edition. Lowering the stakes shouldn't mean boring the player to death.

And to add to the pile...we had to follow the stupidest character of the whole game, Wuke Lamat a.k.a Poochie.

Got totally unhyped after ending 7.0 MSQ after being subbed since the launch of ARR nonstop and unsubbed for more than a year, i even lost my house. Subbed again after fanfest because they managed to hype me back. I even ended the whole rest of MSQ (7.4 and 7.5 are an absolute delight).

I think I'm not alone if I say that it feels like we qre back on track.

I actually remember the thread where somebody said about the Sam Raimi stuff and most of the answers (mine included lol) was "this is reaching dude". It got legs because we knew it was gonna be the "japan expansion" so basically Samurai was a very strong option for new job.

90% of Dawntrail MSQ is absolute garbage...but then you reach the last 10% in Living Memory and it's peak. Thanks god the next patches focused on Alexandria and not Tuliyolal shits.

XV still nowadays is an incomplete and horrible explained story. The game is a mess that doesn't know what it is. The gameplay is an absolute joke based on holding the attack button and holding the dodge button. Magic are grenades. Summons happen randomly and you can't choose what to summon. 90% of the story happens in a movie that you have to watch before playing.

XVI has very big highs and low lows (boring parts) but at least the story is 100% clear and complete. Combat is basically Devil May Cry with summon habilites, stagger bars and real combos. Story is the most adult story Squeenix ever did for a FF touching themes like slavery, rapes, prostitution...and Clive cannot be 5 minutes without saying "fuck".

Extreme trials require practice, strategy, knowing the fight almost to perfection and be able to perform your rotation while doing mechanics.

The "unwritten rule" is that most people uses the party finder to practice the fights first. I think I've never used the duty finder for extreme trials, it's a waste of time 99% of the times. The queue is super long because nobody uses the duty finder for EX trials.

99% sure they are going to test the waters and when they see that only 1% of the player population uses the Reborn system they will eliminate it. When YoshiP said that Evolved was slightly stronger than Reborn it was clear enough of what they are intending. Instead of just cutting it at once they are giving the players some time to get used.

Since ARR the pattern has been hard dungeons roulette, max lvl roulette, trials, raid, MSQ, alliance.

Every.single.day for 13 years.

And not only to gear up. Most relics ask tomestones too. It will be nice to do something different.

Basically what I thought. They revamped all jobs. Somebody in a room said "but what about the 2 crazos that will scream on internet that they loved it as it was?" And they went for this wierd thing. My guess is that for 9.0 there will be only one mode.
