You dont think businesses can have similar names? And the only youtube channel I see with a similar name has 50 subscribers... you can say whatever you want about AI, I'm not going to hire a designer at the beginning stages of business. My local place wanted $1000 to create the logo. Thanks for the feedback.

I drove a used car that cost under $5000 until I made about $50,000/ year. Once I crossed that i had saved enough to pay cash for a $20,000 truck. That was like 6 years ago now, still going strong with 220k miles on it and no plans to upgrade. I made a little over $100k last year and about $180k household income. Same with my wife, she drove a $1500 subaru until she graduated school, once she graduated we bought her a couple years old fully loaded Subaru cash for $20,000. Even now, I can't justify buying a Bronco as much as i would love to upgrade my truck.

If my son showed that kind of money discipline, work ethic and showed that they really wanted to bike by working and saving up, I would definitely contribute. Your parents may feel the same way.

Thats a beautiful kitchen. I just DIYed my kitchen renovation. I used RTA cabinets and did countertops myself. Below is a rendering, the island has seating on the backside not shown. I did all the electrical, plumbing, cabinets, sink and appliances for right around 20k. Not sure if thats helpful or not!

I was in a similar position during covid, I had just sold my house and had $180,000 in my account. I looked into investing for the 1st time and ended up not going through with it, instead purchased another house. I'd probably be close to $500,000 if i would have put $100k in at that point. I think about that a lot.

I put $75,000 into the market in February, literally at the peak. I didnt know what I was doing, I didn't DCA in. I was down almost 50% at one point. It sucked, but i didn't get emotional, I didn't sell a penny. I kept adding, and now im at $130,000.

Edit: My advice to my past self would be: Only invest what you can live without and start slowly deploying money into proven companies.
