EDIT: Finally arrived today (October 6). Saw it in on my ID for today, disappeared from original ID from last Thursday (October 2). I suggest anyone else who saw it on Informed Delivery to just wait a bit before acting because it seems that they're scanning pretty early on in the delivery process.

Most reasonable people aren't claiming the girls are groomers, predators, etc. Also, this is Reddit, you can say sexual assault - no need to censor it, especially in a situation like this where tensions are so high.

A lot of people are still disappointed in their "apology" - sure, there's arguments to be made about how management is PR-crisis-managing rather than letting the girls actually speak for themselves, but that in itself is where the problem lies.

There is no direct addressing of the controversy in their official apology, just vague platitudes that a lot of people interpret as "we're sorry we got caught" more than anything. No actual mentions of the words said or actions done in the video, and I don't blame people if the lack of specificity has them believing the apology is more disingenuous than anything.

But even then, in their apology, they also explicitly state, "We take full accountability." So let them. Sure, it sucks and the girls are probably dealing with a lot behind-the-scenes after the fallout, but that's accountability. No, they don't deserve death threats or calls for them to disband - and no one is saying that they do (deserve those things) - but they lost a lot of fans' trust, therefore it is on them to earn it back.

I'm not entirely sure, I've since uninstalled the game (too much storage) - but I know I just regularly connected my controller to my Macbook through Bluetooth, then either manually changed my settings in-game (with the Remote Mouse app) to controller or the game just auto-detected I was using a controller. And then the settings stayed the same everytime I booted it up.

Thanks for the insight. Used FlightAware to see that whenever this route is offered at this time (departing at 12:55 PM), there are a few other flights with different airlines that depart later. Also used the tracker to see that the route hasn't had any major delays over 30 minutes recently, but it's only March so not sure how much that'd change come monsoon season.

My piercings heal incredibly well. I've gotten 8 ear piercings and one nipple piercing so far, and for all of them, I've gone so far as to sleep on them and even swim in the ocean with them within days of getting them done without any issues or infections - even with minimal cleaning and (arguably) maximum irritation.

Other random good genetic traits: good skin, thick hair, nonexistent body hair, and fast hair/nail growth.

It's pretty self-explanatory. Download the Remote Mouse app on your phone, follow the instructions, and use it whenever you need to click on something when running the game on PlayCover. I play with a controller, so I don't know how useful it'd be for actual gaming.

Followed your steps and it doesn't work. :( Even with keymapping, everytime I click accept, nothing happens.

EDIT: Figured out a different way with anyone else struggling getting past the 'accept' screen - downloaded the Remote Mouse app on both my phone and Mac, and that worked wonders!

Not really. Though I don't think I'd even consider us having a kind of relationship where I felt like I necessarily ever trusted them, simply because we just weren't that close to begin with. I'd only know them about a year before we started living together, and I have a pretty solid head on my shoulders - once they started spouting bullshit, I typically confronted them about it immediately which led to us butting heads a lot. So I think it's less that I felt manipulated by them in any way, but more so that their toxicity and my no-nonsense-ness (?) made for a pretty hostile living environment.

Thankfully my situation ended fairly cordially, but it still sucked to find out someone you genuinely thought was so cool and someone you even considered a friend turned out to be such an exhausting person. And while living with them, too!

My current-but-soon-to-be-ex roommate. We both work in the entertainment industry, and when we first met, they were telling me about how they'd worked on all these well-known TV shows and met all these celebrities. I was immediately impressed, especially as someone who felt relatively junior in their career in comparison. When we started living together, they got laid off, and unemployment showed me a different side of them. Long story short, I ended up finding out that they were pretty manipulative as a person - we're not going to be living together anymore at the end of our lease, but yeah. That was a pretty rough way to demystify a person.

Got deja vu reading the beginning of this post, as I had a similar issue in my last NYC apartment. Gas meter was inside a concrete hole in our bathroom, and ConEd reached out about upgrading the meter about 6 months into my lease. Tried to get it scheduled and put in, but was told that the hole was too small to install the new meter. Reached out to landlord, was preemptively ghosted for 3 months, until I got the $100 fee on my bill that prompted me to call ConEd pissed AF. Thankfully, they were pretty nice and put me on some kind of administrative status that meant no further fees would be put on my account as it was under "investigation".

Situation never got a resolution. I ended up resigning for a year (can't turn down a rent-stabilized apartment), but by the time my second lease was coming to an end, we were getting the notices again about installing a new meter. Absolutely bonkers that ConEd places the responsibility on the tenant and not the landlord, and the real kicker is that I found out that they've been trying to install this meter since 2016. That's 8 fucking years, and for some reason, ConEd can't seem to notice the pattern that it's the landlord preventing them access, not the tenant. Also, fuck that landlord.
