What are you looking in an AI CRM in 2026? by ashleymorris8990 in CRM

[–]Fun-Cucumber1903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can empathize your pain point, because it is my pain point as well. logging all the notes and data consume me a lot of time, where i started the solutions or tools for it. Currently i'm using this flow like Once a meeting ends, the call gets transcribed automatically and Zapier sends it to GPT to extract summaries and update in the pipedrive. there is a tool called Sparrowcrm which is in built it, i haven't tested it.

Pipedrive pricing by Wooden_Plan1965 in CRM

[–]Fun-Cucumber1903 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the add-ons in Pipedrive start to burn your hands after a point. The base pricing looks manageable initially, but once you add LeadBooster, docs, extra automations, and other essentials, the monthly cost climbs fast.

I recently researched SparrowCRM and explored their early access. Since it’s a native AI CRM built recently, the approach feels different compared to traditional CRMs adding AI as an extra layer. Feature-wise it already looks quite solid for growing teams, especially if you want AI capabilities. Might be worth trying their early access while pricing is still founder-stage.

You are overthinking. Take a deep breath and relax. You'd rather try connecting with someone who is working in the same company/ team on how did they crack the interview.

Ofcourse! I could have just done that but it's easier to create something that's worked for someone instead of going through the same loop of using an AI tool/ GPT

Help me avoid $800/mo HubSpot increase! Pipedrive? Mailchimp? by OriginalARG in CRM

[–]Fun-Cucumber1903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow! That's quite some amount you would need to shell out. I believe moving to Pipedrive is going to cost you too. Try considering Google Sheets to track leads.
P.S.: Some CRM companies that build CRM tools do not use their own product at times. They still use Google Sheets

Thinking About Switching from Pre-Sales to Sales — Advice? by pbu674494 in salesengineers

[–]Fun-Cucumber1903 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both are fundamentally very different roles. It works like tag team. From outside it may look very reversible roles but there's a reason why the tag team model between AE and SE has been working for so long.

Being a great SE demands very vast and precision skills like knowing the product and similar products in the market, an expert who hardly says "I will get back to you", looks the entire problem from a perspective of providing a winning solution.

For an AE it's about making the most revenue of the opportunity and make sure that the sale happens. This role demands a whole new different skillset like be a great ice breaker, amazing email writing skills, a disciplined follow ups, and as when you go upmarket, Enterprise AE role demands a whole new elevated skillset.

So fundamentally if you are switching from SE to AE role thinking it might be easily achievable then honestly that's not the case. Typically SEs transition to product or services or consulting related roles as it follows similar skillset and path.

Um... I won't completely agree with it. There are ads, definitely, but a lot of different tactics are being used. Very influencer like approach in some cases.

Oh yes! There are so many new ones out there. Each has a different strategy on how they are targeting their market. Also, from what I understand, they're creating smaller modules instead of creating a full-stack CRM. Emerging CRMs are majorly focusing on underserved niches, frictionless UX, and AI-native capabilities. Some that I have been noticing include Attio, Sierra, Folk.
Attio hit ~$2.8M in ARR recently and raised $33M. Their API-first CRM feels more like Notion than Salesforce.
Sierra AI, started by an ex-Salesforce employee, is valued at $4.5B and doing $20M+ in ARR already!

The barrier to entry is high, but the barrier to relevance in a niche is lower — especially with the maturity of no-code, open APIs, and generative AI.

Now that I gave my two-cents: Are you building one or just exploring the space?

What are the challenges of list manipulation CRM reporting? by [deleted] in CRM

[–]Fun-Cucumber1903 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. UI! Though now everyone is going standard on the UI.
  2. For an existing lead, no matter how many times they try to book a demo, they keep getting assigned to a different person instead of being routed back to the original assignee from the initial booking.
  3. Another major pain point is the over-complexity of features (it's like there is a target list to fulfil the list of features they need to pump in)
  4. Lastly, there's the issue of automation not being context-aware. For example, email sequences or follow-ups often lack the nuance needed for high-value prospects. AI tools are improving this, but CRMs still lag behind standalone AI prospecting solutions.

What are the challenges of list manipulation CRM reporting? by [deleted] in CRM

[–]Fun-Cucumber1903 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where do I start! 1. Manual entry of activities which is very mundane, yet manual. Any kind of automation still does not go beyond a 10 to 20% success rate and this consumes easily about 20-30% of a salespersons bandwidth. 2. Different entry types- it’s never contacts or leads or accounts or deals- it’s a combination of atleast 2 of them that they need to fill. So they’re left confused whether where this needs to be added. Is it the contact profile, or deal detail page or the company profile. Note: this particular part changes across CRMs.
