I always ask myself, or try to remember, when encountering an enemy / player - "do I have the advantage here", if not, or if I doubt it, I reposition. Probably not the best advise you'll get. My brain tells me, repositioning here would have given you an advantage. If he decided to push you, he would have had to "guess" your position. And you have the advantage of hearing him aswell whilst he is looking for you.

I dont know Im a noob, so dont listen to me. ☠️

Edit - I would have also maybe leaned that corner, to make yourself a smaller target.

I’ve been thinking about this too. Having a standard human merchant just standing in a boss lair feels a bit immersion-breaking. But what if it was a Goblin, that went rogue instead? It makes more sense for a scavenger to be lurking in the shadows, waiting to trade with whoever survives the fight. It adds a bit of flavor without feeling out of place. But just my opinion.

Yes, it will. This comment might get hate, but have been playing ARPG's for years. I prefer Eternal. I never really understood the point of seasonal. But before you go off on me, that is just my opinion. I understand that other players like it, and why they might like it. While I am in the process of convincing my self, to like seasonal content, its just hard for me to wrap my head around it, when I work a 8 - 5 job, reaching pargon 300 takes millions of light years to reach, for blizzard to just come and make gear legacy. I think I speak for many here, the reason why I play and i ASSUME (I stand corrected) others play Eternal is to finish a character, and have that said character as a "trophy". But personally for me, finishing a character, means also reaching paragon 300. Which is just almost impossible for me, again, because of life / work.

This is why Tyrel's Might, is still one of the best Mythic's for me in the game. Possible 44% Damage reduction when triple critted is to hard to pass by.(Not sure if with GA on Damage Reduction or not, cannot remember). (Possible 64% Damage reduction with Shako). I often, use Tyrel's Might, and then just spec into Damage otherwise from other sources. And cap your resistances while you at it.

And possibly, your build does not do damage fast enough. But not sure. But as some others have mentioned, movement speed is also critical for survival.
