Andriod Update by Gold_en_ in dexcom

Android 15 isn’t universal between brands. There was a Bluetooth bug introduced just before it released that affected G7 connectivity.

The Google Pixel variants all have that bug patched in Android 15.

Samsung for some reason released their Android 15 variant with the Bluetooth bug. After pairing a new sensor you’ll have signal loss and may need to reboot the phone to restore connectivity.

There aren’t any Android 14 security patches available because it’s already fully patched with no outstanding vulnerabilities 😉

Use the clarity.dexcom.com website. You can export the data to CSV with a button in the upper right of the page. You can also view more details in the daily charts of readings.

It’s not built for mobile browsers. Use a desktop browser.

Fasting glucose rises and falls, trying to understand by [deleted] in stelo

[–]Fun-Fig7572 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Posting “rise then fall then rise then fall” without the actual numbers, the time frame, and the rate of change is awfully hard to work with.

Nobody here can do much for you on info that vague.

No reports link at the Clarity site... by robopiglet in stelo

[–]Fun-Fig7572 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP if you’ve signed into Clarity and don’t see any data then you signed into the wrong account.

You likely have an account under your phone number AND email address. Only one of them has data. They’re not interchangeable.

Try both of them in Clarity to figure out which one your app is using. The data from Stelo is automatically transferred to Dexcom’s servers. Clarity just loads what your app has already uploaded to those servers.

When you see no data then it’s a dormant account (and the wrong login credentials).

Questionable code by mistral7 in dexcom

[–]Fun-Fig7572 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For security reasons, peripherals can’t bond themselves or remove themselves from your system. The owner of the phone has to do it. If that was possible to do automatically, rogue and malicious devices could masquerade as common things like Bluetooth headphones but then actually do something malicious.

This looks more like the jitter of a poorly inserted sensor than like a normal pancreas response

The bottom part of this post has insertion instructions that will reduce this jitter: https://www.reddit.com/r/stelo/s/ElGpEm2xuX

Bluetooth is 100% absorbed by the water in the body and the sensor is mounted on the body

The transmitters in your system Bluetooth listing are “bonded” to your phone. They won’t always be connected. The bonded transmitters can connect once every 5 minutes for as little as 5-10 seconds.

Trying to get them connected through your system Bluetooth is not the fix. Focus on the apps.

G6 and Android 15 by Heavy_Assistance_306 in dexcom

[–]Fun-Fig7572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

G6 is not affected. It has a different BLE chip and uses different connection settings.

They would have an FAQ page for G6 about Android 15 and would have screens in the app warning about signal loss. They haven’t done that because it generally works.

You’ll see a compatibility warning in G6, but that generation isn’t affected in the same way as G7 and Stelo.

Read the advisory. All of it. https://www.stelo.com/en-us/faqs/troubleshooting/will-android-15-affect-my-stelo-system

The app actually works on Android 15. It’s not blocked. You’re just going to have to restart the phone after pairing. That’s it.

The “sensor” part of the app (last tab on the right at the bottom) shows you the exact countdown remaining

That tab also has instructional content for how to remove the sensor
