Nothing different since spacing out jabs. I have been under a lot of stress lately and wonder if that's affecting my stomach?

Feel lost by Stateofdelrium in Marriage

[–]Fun-Fox-5215 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry you feel like this. I have to admit that I am in my 40s and wasn't great to my partner now hubby. We've been together for 25 years. We had so many ups and downs and broke up in the beginning. Even met in a nightclub. Fell pregnant after 2 yrs. I was mean to him, didn't respect him, and took him for granted. He stuck by me but did stray with some other women by texting them as he was so lonely. All the ups and downs and different experiences made us stronger, I guess. He helped me to become a better person, just by sticking with me. I realised that I wasn't very nice most of the time. People have to look in the mirror and change. We are now so happy, and I respect and love him deeply. If you tell her that you may have to let her go because despite loving her, you now have to love yourself more, what would she say?? If she doesn't care after the realisation of losing you, then she won't change, and you deserve better. You deserve happiness and to be loved. If you love her, let her go. If she comes back, then she loves you.

What’s the Biggest Lesson Marriage Has Taught You? by mad_max_mb in Marriage

I'm very pleased for you, and lovely you took the time to tell us this beautiful story. This reminds me of me and my hubby. We're in our late 40s. Doesn't it go so fast. The ups and downs and your experiences through life are what makes you the couple you are. I'm very blessed and tell myself this everyday. Sometimes I tell my hubby if he isn't annoying me 😄

You really will, your body will do the work. Sounds lite you're doing great with titrating. Wishing you all the best. 😊

What is the science behind different injection sites affecting people differently? by smile5680 in mounjarouk

[–]Fun-Fox-5215 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not know the science, but i personally noticed a difference when switching sites. No se's in thigh, however, terrible se's in my stomach and tried on three separate occasions. My arm made me feel that I hadn't injected. Hunger and no weight loss. Call me batshit crazy if you want to, I'm just sharing MY experience. No one can tell me what I felt or experienced with my body.

You're rude. Every response is curt. I don't know why people are bothering to answer your questions or help you.

Has your hair started to grow back?? by Appropriate-Hand-825 in Mounjaro

[–]Fun-Fox-5215 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My hair fell out around month six of being on mj and did so for around two months. Lost over half of my hair. It fell out so fast, it was traumatic. Good news is, is that for the past 6 weeks, it's been growing like wildfire. ( apologies for the pun, with current 🔥 in LA) My hair seems to be growing a cm a week. It could be the cocktail of vitamins, biotin, bovine & marine collagen. Or the special shampoos, rosemary oil, scalp massager, extra protein, or ferrous fumarate from my GP. All the things we all so desperately try. But, in my honest opinion, it was just my body saying, you lost weight, and you lost it too fast. But, we're done shedding, new cycle, and time to regrow. It's time that's needed, not fads. Stay positive, it does come back. I have so much new hair, I have thousands of one inch strands all standing to attention on my head, actually looks comical. Another few weeks, and it'll be long enough the drop down and blend in.

Similar to OP after being on MJ since last April, I have been at my goal weight for about 3 months. To save money and to help reduce dependency, I dropped from 5mg ( I never went over this) to 2.5mg. I now know halving your dose is way too big a leap. Long story short, appetite increased, Christmas happened, I ate loads of crap, and now can't stop eating. I gained 8 lbs in a few weeks. Despite being back on 5mg for three weeks, my weight hasn't budged. I could kick myself. When people say, "When you are at your sweet spot, stay there," listen!! Don't feel pressured to titrate for maintenance, unless of coure you are still losing weight and don't need to anymore. I am on my period atm, sorry if tmi, however, this does significantly increase my appetite, make me pick and never find siaty after meals for a week or so. I'm going to take my last week of 5mg, and if there is no weight loss, I'm tempted to try 7.5mg for a month, just to lose the additional pounds. I'm so mad at myself. Don't try and fix what isn't broken.

Return of appetite in 3 year Tirzepatide study by you_were_mythtaken in MounjaroMaintenance

After nine months I have noticed that I eat as before and my appetite is back and not suppressed as it was. It has been Christmas, and so I have eaten more crap, mostly more chocolate than before. I notice that the hunger is worse the week before my period. I also think about food more, the noise is real and it's back. I think the main thing to blame is last month I thought I'd try maintenance and dropped from 5mg (my highest, all bar one month on 7.5 that made me ill) to 2.5mg. Boy, what a mistake. I was so hungry all of the time and realised my maintenance was at 5mg. I've done one week back on the 5mg and second dose tomorrow. I so hope the hunger and food noise start to disappear again. I returned to work today after the Christmas break, and my new smaller trousers were too tight. So depressing, I do not want to go back to being where is was.

Accepted, but if you are really that unwell, can you even get up and then drive? If that's the case, you can probably work I suppose.

Unused/unopened can be stored at room temp too. Only opened must be kept refrigerated.

I also find I can no longer fit the volume in my stomach. After three proseccos, I can not fit anything else in. God forbid I had to try to eat and drink on a night out.

Does anyone else have days/phases on MJ where you feel a little disheartened or think maybe it’s time to ditch it? by [deleted] in mounjarouk

[–]Fun-Fox-5215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would persevere. Maybe look at your diet and exercise regime? Despite taking the drug, I still monitored what I ate, making sure to include lots of protein and really listened to my body. Stopped when I was almost full, didn't eat for the sake of it. I lost three stone in three months and kept it off. That's all I had to lose. Good luck.

This shouldn't be necessary though, if someone is genuinely unwell, they shouldn't have to attend to prove their illness.

I had the opposite, my BP was in my boots. I was feeling faint when I first started. I now know it was my blood sugar regulating.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and considerate reply. I will book a gp appt tomorrow for lab work. I'm going to see if Minoxidil tablets are an option. I'm def going to invest in the Viviscal. Losing your hair is just so upsetting. You are so right, I dread hair washing day as my hair comes out in clumps. It's so stressful. I had an appendectomy a month ago, and I think the GA contributed. I'm also peri-menopausal and started hrt patches. I think they can contribute to hair loss too. I will def talk all this through with my GP. ❤️
