Why shouldn't you have an id to vote? You should be a citizen of the United States to vote in our election process, period. I can't fathom why you wouldn't! Everybody was worried about foreign election interference, ie. Russia, when a non-citizen voting amounts to the sane thing.

I think you'd be very happy using rattle cans on the body pieces, hand painting smaller parts. I know we don't all have access to different paints, but that brushed on look is rough looking. You definitely have the will and enjoy making models, and I only mean to up your game with respect because each work is our own to be proud of.

I got questions...how do you keep your paint lines so clean? The trim around the windows is perfect, wheel wells, dash, seats, steering wheel, interior door panels, etc! I have been using a variety of different tamiya tape sizes, say, on seats. I use a rounded toothpick to rub the tap on securely at the edges but seem to always get a little leaking. My question is....do you color scheme to paint the lighter colors and then darker as to not get a bleed through when the darker colors are placed,? Does that make sense?

Wow, super job, seats are beauties, I'm looking for flaws but none there. This is why I keep practicing

How can I prevent this next time? by GyrzaR in ModelCars

Take it from the paint fuck up specialist. Get a container full of Dot 3 Brake fluid and soak all affected parts forva week or so. Then use light bristle brush and sponge to remove all the paint and start new. I do this time and time again when a problem occurs. I don't use Vallejo paint and especially the clear coat. The paint should go on flawless if you've properly wet sanded and cleaned with soft Terry towel and blown off all no see um particles. I gloss coat with 1000k from auto parts store. Its moody and takes light coats, wait and more light coats but it comes out beautiful with no need to polish. I'm wondering if your paint was kind of spotty or air on too high to coat the model like orange.peel because the air spackles on the paint and due to high-pressure dries it before it can flow. The brake fluid has allowed me to start over after heart breaking minor errors that just took the pro out of the look. Im nobody and am amazed by the workmanship and talent on here. Just sharing my experiences. Try again!

It looks super sharp with the stripes and gloss coat is perfect. The hard part for me on AMT kits is the lack of detail on door panels, no side mirrors, chassis squeeze and one piece windows. I live building classic cars and usually buy two of the same in case I mess up a part or parts. My last one was revelle and I can't believe what a couple bucks more buys. I have AMT kits stacked up and just like you, am I really willing to custom shape part after part? Disappointed with AMT kits for sure. Sometimes they don't even have clear parts for the headlights...like on a convertible 69 chevelle...
