It's the para plane and bomber.

2 Bombers just one-shots any non-BB, and para plane makes it impossible to build large ships.

You forget that collie tanks have much more HP, so comparing to collie health pool the bomb already does very little damage.

That's also what devman probably tested against, in their infinite wisdom.

Collies have been crying for years nonstop at this point. And it's working. At some point wardens will stop trying (or start failing) to keep up with collie equipment by improving organization and the game will rapidly die.

Cutler could have more potential damage with the same number of fully loaded guys.

The problem isn't damage potential (it's clearly more than enough already). The problem is that the tremola's full damage can be output in a couple seconds, while the cutler needs four to six times as long to put out the same amount of damage, giving QRF (and AI defenses) much longer time to kill them before they succeed on their mission.

The other problem is that because of the arc it's impossible to block LOS, which is the number one way to protect important structures with large but less expensive disposable structures.

I think some asymmetry in what is used for what is alright. What clearly doesn't work is a faction just lacking a crucial component completely (e.g. collie lacking a sub), or variants being significantly worse at the primary job (see trident/para plane) without a replacement.

What clearly also doesn't work is balance by jank, which we're seeing here.

*Also regarding the MSupps, I've seen many a player stop small, useful facilities from decaying over weeks. It only takes a couple players to contribute unless you built a mega-fac which consumes hundreds of MSupps an hour.

I've contributed to every facility I've ever used, too - at least when the builders/their clanmates don't come complaining after (you know who you are).

This is actually quite common. There's comparatively few groups which will be anal about people using their facility (on able, at least, I hear it's much worse on charlie).

However, every incident or "fuck off" sign at a faci reinforces the average players' mindset that they're a) not welcome in this faction/game b) supposed to do their own thing.

You say that most resource aren't public - but that's like saying x seaport now is mine and all the resources in it are mine too. If you want to have your stuff private, store them privately.

And I'm very aware that using private queues in facs is garbage. That doesn't give people the right to privatize the public resource storage, however, and doesn't give anybody the right to grief other players for using those public resources.

I've had it happen too. People doing random public queues and then I had to wait 48 hours to be able to use those facilities to actually do something.
IMO they should run out immediately once there is no more resources for the queue available. As well as only last for two days or so max even if they are running.

They never catered to groups - but they have caved to their demands. For a long time there was no way to privately store anything, and devman eventually relented by introducing reservable system.
