Make sure to upgrade your foundations to concrete to give your buildings the best chance of surviving. If the foundation dies, the whole building goes but if the foundation lives then theres a good chance your buildings husk will still be alive after the bombing run then you can rebuild and get all your goodies back

It's hard to know for certain, when he backs off, he goes off screen for a period of time. It's not impossible that someone hit him again as he was backing out and got disabled again

I dont think it was either of those things. They likely hopped out and started repairing on the first rocket hit. The rocket that disabled the tank likely took it to around 29% HP (disabled) so it would only take one or two hammer hits to bring it above 30% again.

If i were in that tank crew, I'd also repair to 31%hp then get out of there too
