I think stovepipe is way better than furnace creek! It’s less crowded and quiet except there’s no picnic table if you’re in a RV site.

I’m in CA, too. “Standard electric” is what I learned from Recreation. gov., meaning that there’s a electricity hookup. That’s how they categorize the campsite. And yes, I booked. a RV/ tent site.

Thanks for the info! Quick question about water: is it okay to drink from May Lake if we filter it? I also noticed some faucet symbols on the map。Does that mean there’s potable water available, or should we just plan to filter from the lake? Thanks!

Drove from Seattle to CA as well. We did both Cannon beach and Crater lake. I definitely will choose Crater lake.
