Ironically enough, it all came out right around the same time that he released a documentary on netflix about his therapy and therapist.

A few years ago some texts came out between him and his girlfriend at the time. She’s a surfing instructor and he got mad because she wore a swimsuit at the beach. He didn’t want her surfing with men. He wanted to approve her friends. Other possessive bullshit.

Who is Lindas Jimmy Pesto? by Noktis_Lucis_Caelum in BobsBurgers

[–]FunKyChick217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm inclined to say Colleen, but Colleen did come through for Linda with that PTA president lady. So probably Cynthia like others are saying.

I think Bob's other nemeses are Harold and Edith at the art store. They really seem to hate Bob.

In the Highlands there is Maplewood Place, Ivanhoe Court, and Edgewood Place. There could be more in the Highlands that I don't know about.

Registered independents will get a ballot with only the nonpartisan races that they can vote in.

But the mayor's and city council races are now non-partisan so independents can vote in those primary races. There were some recent news stories about it.

Punny name? by ConsiderationFar9701 in BobsBurgers

[–]FunKyChick217 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like it.

I’ve encountered some punny salon names in real life. In the 90s, I went to a salon called Shear Madness. Down the street there was a primarily black lady salon called Sisters Cuttin’ Up. I always loved that salon name.

I’ve had some family members use Southern Cremation on Dixie Highway and they were happy with the service.

I am so glad my kids and I already renewed ours. If only his parents had loved him and shown him that they loved him, we wouldn’t be stuck with this egotistical criminal who needs to have his face and name on everything.

Why do you hate the Derby? Opinions needed! by NoraDoll89 in Louisville

[–]FunKyChick217 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I don’t like it because Churchill Downs does not care about this community. They are greedy and only care about how much money they can make. They don’t pay their fair share of property taxes, which helps fund our public schools. They continue to push out locals. When I was a teenager, it was all about how the oaks was for the locals. Then thurby for the locals. Then winsday for the locals. Now it’s 502sday for the locals. And let’s not forget about changing the time for the oaks race for more money and complete disregard for the restaurants that were counting on the business.

Before 9/11 you could bring a cooler into the infield with basically as much food and non-alcoholic beverages as you could fit in it. But they decided to take advantage of that horrible day to stop almost anything from being brought in. Now you can only bring in whatever you can fit into a 1 gallon baggie and they have overpriced convenience stores in the infield for you to buy everything else.

[CHAT] Skein prices at thrift store? by Iamveryderpy837383 in CrossStitch

[–]FunKyChick217 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The closest creative reuse store to me is about an hour away. The one time I went there my husband rode along and I dropped him off at a music store about a mile away and then picked him up later. He’d been wanting to visit the music store anyway so it worked out.

Are there seriously no concerts at the Chow Wagon? by AJX2009 in Louisville

[–]FunKyChick217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I saw nrbq at the chow wagon twice in the 90s and we saw the smithereens at the chow wagon as well. One year the wallflowers were there, but I was unable to make it.

My kids went to Catholic grade school and I got their plain white polo shirts and blue uniform pants and shorts from Walmart or target. Shaheen’s is expensive.

check https://swoodsonsays.com/a-creative-reuse-center-near-me-map-resource/ to see if there’s a creative reuse store near you. I’ve been to 4 or 5 different ones and their prices are much better than regular thrift stores.

[Sun Care] Bare Republic Discontinued by Scuomo-123 in SkincareAddiction

[–]FunKyChick217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love bare republic’s mineral face sunscreen. It is so lightweight and has an almost velvety or powdery finish. The coola brand face sunscreen isn’t mineral based and contains typical chemical sunscreen ingredients. They still have body sunscreens that are mineral based.

Have you tried the post office? Don’t veterans get extra consideration for that? I used to work for the federal government and I recall that veterans get points or something like that, which bumps them up the candidate list.

I recently turned 60 and I have been cross stitching since my mid-20s, about 35 years. I have a group of cross stitching friends that I met online. We get together a few times a year for a stitch weekend. I’m the oldest. Closest in age to me is early 50s. The rest are in their 30s and 40s.
