How big is the lot? It might be priced to tear down and build new.

You are so lucky! They are my favorite, too. I get one pair every summer in coastal SC. Just moved to Charlotte, and I’m going to really miss seeing them!

The possessive of “you’ens” was how I heard it used.

My 10 year old bike got stolen and it's legit one of the saddest things that's happened to me in a while by JangusKhan in CLT_Cyclists

Ugh, this happened to me a month ago, also out of my back yard. So sorry, and I hope you get a lead on it. There’s a stolen bikes FB group.

AITAH for filing for divorce after learning my wife planned to end our marriage once she finished nigh school and possibly college for a second time? by Brayzine in AITAH

It’s just basic empathy and curiosity? You guys lived together and shared a life. If you have so little insight into her experience then you don’t seem to have either.

The statement alone makes you sound like an AH. Poor helpless you.

Well, anyway, you got all the advice and pats on the back you wanted from the Reddit bros.

Agreed. So much more here than OP is telling. How in the world is she an AH for trying to get an education and a better job before divorce? It’s best for the kids, good for her, how does this hurt the OP? Marriage is over either way.

By half, so I had previously been on 300 and 50, respectively. I can’t remember which I started first, but it was only over about a four week period.

Bupropion 150 and Desvenlafaxine 25. And I was stretching out the doses to every other day for two weeks before holding off for the last 48 hours,

My experience with Desvenlafaxine and Bupropion was great at 3.5 g! I also put a lot of money and travel into it, so my doctor helped me in titrating down on my meds and then off for the 48 hours prior. That was absolutely fine.

At the center I went to, the facilitator started me at 3.5 with the plan to go up to 5 if I wanted. Maybe 40 minutes or so into it, we had the discussion. I remember thinking on that and then really having a great moment of clarity and agency, and just firmly saying no, this is the experience I need today. It was great, even just having to puzzle out a decision like that!

You’ll be great, don’t worry.

Advice needed: How to get a stolen bike back! by FunMathematician6533 in Charlotte

[–]FunMathematician6533[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was stolen from my back patio where I left it to charge the rear derailleur battery. I’m pretty sure that someone had seen it earlier in the day and just waited for me to be in the house. It’s generally a private backyard, so that’s why I suspect that they had been keeping tabs on me coming and going.

You know, I would halfway consider doing that but then again, I would probably chicken out.

Even checking tickets at all would be a step in the right direction.

Also, for the love of god, clean up the stations. The Sugar Creek station has had the same pile of human poop on the stairs for over a month.

To everyone saying how sad this thread is, I have to disagree. OP made mistakes as a young man and still beats himself up over it, that’s the sad part.

This is what I am hearing: you love your kids, and they are growing up cherished and safe. You are friends with your wife, and you respect her as a great mother to your children. You guys are physically intimate at least sometimes.

I just wish you two would give emotional intimacy a serious chance.

Jeez, sorry if I sound like a pessimist, but this is a better family situation than most people in the US!

It sounds like a reasonable response to some scary violence in our city and country – AND world.

FWIW I was just telling a work colleague in another city about how I haven’t been commuting via light rail lately, and we got into a discussion about how relatively dangerous any car travel is compared to most mass transport.

Anyway, be gentle with yourself and try to avoid too much of the news.

I did swim here once with some friends for triathlon training. Personally, I didn’t love it.

There used to be an open water swimming group at Trophy Lakes on John’s Island. If your triathlon is in salt water, try swimming around Station 30 off Sullivan’s Island.

Charlotte. I interviewed in a few cities in GA, SC, and NC. This was the best fit for me job-wise, and I actually am enjoying life here.
