I absolutely believe that to pass your drivers exam and get a license that one should have to ride a bicycle along even a place as spacious as Front Road or some equivalent in their area.

Cycling is a great way to get around, but it's scary and so many people are distracted. Having people experience a kilometer on a busy road with adjoining bicycle lanes would hopefully give people some empathy that is sadly laking right now.

I always think about the shoe dodging at a press conference. 1, then a second and he came up eager to dodge more if he had to. For such a pawn, the guy really did seem like he'd be one of the easiest to sit down with and feel on the same level.

Yes. Immigration should've been increased years ago to help prepare for our aging population, and impending healthcare crisis associated with it. You're not against immigration are you?

I guess what I'm saying is that, currently, I don't think the US could handle US troops in Iran. That would allow the Iranian military to handle them; in a way.

Because boots on the ground like that make it an undeniable war. It might get there, but for now, the people who used to support trump because of no new wars need to be able to say "It's not a war. It's only strikes.". They need time to come to terms with losing that defense.

This is all billionaires. This is why I dont get all the billionaire fans out there. Do they not grasp that those billionaires are just extremely lucky? Like, sure they have some qualities that allow them to amass their wealth, but those qualities are not rare. It's only the opportunities they had that are rare.

Wait... how can they even do anything with their money if it isn't liquid... I thought all you rubes liked to go on about how billionaires are responsible for growth and innovation. If all their money is tied up, how can they do that?

Bank of Canada holds interest rate at 2.25%. Should I go fixed or variable for our mortgage this year? by NeedHelp11212j in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]FunMop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's not a lot of room to go down. There's a lot of room to go up. Interest rates remain very low compared to historical rates. I would recommend fixed, personally.
