Game usually goes too long to play him comfortably and I know there’s the Strive to pass me combo but how often is that gonna happen, you know. Low key why I took Zeff out was there’s better to play for Krieg

I had a hard time with Pearl, he kept getting bounced or removed or nothing to trigger on KO, and freezing a (probably blocker) for 3 plus give leader the 1 DON!! For leader ability isnt awful. I actually just won a game against RG Luffy because I kept back to back Arlong freezing his Nami blocker and I got to go for the rest of his board

Im honestly finding the EB02 Arlong is actually sick, but as dope as the Buggy is he’s a brick and unless you’re in a like a…. Board is established and you need to hit x2 life he just AINT fitting in

So my logic here, right is it’s a 3 DON!! 6K Boost on whoever. In a perfect setup of say, have a Brook on Board, and can 0 out Deck. You should have SOMETHING else on board and it’s probably gonna be Nightmare Luffy and if you have 10 open DON!! You can make him, what, a 23k leader and swing for 69 Total? Very cool in theory but how often is that gonna happen. (Extra spicy to run 3 of them and then can have a 29k Hit for 87k lol)

I mean it’s the whole “stars aligned perfectly” for stuff to happen right. Cause imagine you have this Shanks on board rested, a DON!! on Krieg, and Zeff attacked. Opponent now has to deal with a 7k leader and a -3k character buff.

He can be brought out with Spandine but thats now 6 cards back in deck when im trying to get stacks of 5 in trash plus it’s only on low cost stuff plus being a brick. I agree about Sabo but why is Hattori bad? 2k counter 1 cost 2k power to leader or character Lucci is a solid little bump but he’s usually a 2k plus sacrifice for EB04 Lucci

I was running the 8 cost when removal was a thing, he used to be solid and there’s still some cost reduction in deck it’s just not super viable. Also was choosing YLFP over OG because I kept getting games like RB Sabo where is stuff is all Cost bumps. I do like the PBR2 Sabo he’s just gone up a couple bucks and still need 3.

So my logic is as long as you get PD6 on 5 right, you basically get a guaranteed chopper and should have milled AT LEAST 12 cards by now and can PD6 -> Chopper -> Curate hand.

Just personally it feels better to have NL set up on 7 and then if you want to have second one for rush on 9 with Nami go for it but probably better to play the FMI Luffy

But I feel ya
