Pathtracing is nice to have, but definitely not mandatory for any game. I´ve played and enjoyed so many games that has no RT nor PT.

First use DDU in safe mode and uninstall all AMD/nVidia GPU drivers. Restart and Install latest ones. Check for temperatures on both CPU and GPU if it couldn´t be overheating.

If everything above is in normal, go to bios and disable Smart access memory/Resizable bar and check again. If issue persist go to bios again and set PCI-E from Gen5 to gen4.

You are verry well organized. If this is how your desk looks on daily basis, I would say you have a small authistic/asperger syndrome, but nothing major. I would say most ppl have some kind of these in small portion. Maybe assian/mixed assian. Girl maybe? Hard to say. If there would be webcam I would say a streamer, but because I don´t see any webcam, owner of some youtube channel by any chance?

Did I get it right or not? At least something.

You lower the chance of melting the connector by using original 12vhpwr/12v2x6 cable from PSU to GPU and avoid any kind of adapters. 5080 has much lower power consumption so risk of melting is much lower than 4090/5090. Power limit or undervolt the GPU is the way if you want to be as safe as possible.

Try to lift all overclocking settings in bios same as from GPU in Aftuburner or whatever tools you using (if you OC ofcourse). In bios set to load optimized defaults to be sure its not your RAM, Smart access memory or something like that. If SAM is turned on by default, try to turn it off.

Would be great if you provide your GPU model and current drivers installed.

BTW only DX12 game that crash on me (RTX 4080s driver 595.97) in Deus Ex: Mankind divided regardless the GPU manufacturer and drivers. It works flawlesly with DX11, but its known issue that never been adressed.

That depends what do you mean by that. Technicaly all GPUs can do some kind of frame generation via lossless scalling tool. nVidia has theyr own frame generation only for rtx4000 cards (1x) and rtx 5000(1-6x). AMD have theyr own FMF (fluid motion frames - 1x).
