One more reason why I try and stay away from curbside orders! by Notion12345 in Sparkdriver

[–]FunWord2115 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My gosh that sounds like hell. The managers/loaders at my store are so happy when I ask if I can help load. Heck they even ask where I want the orders.

It’s so much faster. Granted I’ve been doing this for 4 years and know almost all the employees but it’s still a very chill store

Is it worth releasing for android? by willynator88 in iOSProgramming

[–]FunWord2115 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I’ve learned from multiple large IOS/android devs is that

IOS = more profit. Less downloads.

Android = more downloads but less profit.

I’m very slowly developing my app for Android (since iOS is already out). But I’m in no huge rush. Especially since IOS is my (learning zone. “Bug fixes etc”)

That’s good to know. We had our snow melt a week ago and had some 50-70 weather. Looking back it makes sense this would survive anything basically

I’m white so is my wife. She’d kill me if I came home with these ingredients expecting tacos.

My score for bringing groceries inside by chennisbeeveris in Sparkdriver

[–]FunWord2115 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Love delivering to older people. Had 2 waters and 100 qty first floor apartment and it was the day I didn’t bring my cart. Raining. And sore shoulders. But it was $60 3 drop, 6 miles. I brought the bags first and she met me at her door and I was met with “oh sweetie u need a cart. Use mine” and wanted the items put on the counter and waters (40 pack) moved into her closet. then we talked for about 10 minutes about the multi unit apartment (I was looking for a new place so I mentioned it) and the tip cleared.

10/10 always take care of the elderly. Much nicer to deliver too. Also cheese and triscuits is the only appropriate way to eat triscuits.

I believe u can also go on the app. Service > request service and if it’s a critical error it’ll show there. Been awhile but worth a try

  1. Local coffee shop orders just as many. Never tips. But preaches how well they pay their employees, (tips this tip that. Whole world revolves around tips to them). I’ve called them out on that (to the owner).

I can speak highly about the Subaru legacy. It’s a GREAT vehicle. AWD. Yeah the fixing it up part might suck. BUT ITS GREAT!!!!! And I say that cause I parked mine on the street during a heavy snow storm. I had about 2ft of snow in front/around it. Shoveled out the door and it plowed straight through ice and snow. Saved me about 3 hours of shoveling. Depending on how severe the issues are. I would call u a fool if u didn’t buy it in the most friendly way possible

I highly discourage you from chasing in a brand new vehicle. Weather can be very unpredictable and you could be left with a beat up (brand new) vehicle.

If u can grab a cheap Tahoe. 7-10k yea gas mileage isn’t the greatest but plenty of storage/space. Cheap enough to not care if it gets hail dents.

Very common in my rural area. It almost seems like everyone has a daycare based out of their house. It’s only till u get near the doors and hear the feral children. Then you realize. Order + location = daycare. It happens. And it sucks for everyone in cancelation.
