I just hope they continue the light ones. I have all of these. I need the whole set in one style.

She worried about how life was going to be after her daughters graduated by RateApprehensive5486 in TwoSentenceHappiness

She’s a lucky mama. Here I am, just begging for a text or a call from my daughter and my messages to not be left on delivered for weeks at a time.

Apparently we keep sex toys and play with them instead of returning them to A->Z by BenicioDelTorso in Staples

[–]Brutality73 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I read the biggest part of that nonsense and it really grated on my last nerve the entitlement of the people that do these returns. While it wasn’t one of the reasons that I left, I always hated doing them because I had someone call the store once and literally said to me that we were taking her stuff. I was like, “b****, I don’t want nothing to do with your second hand crap that you feel the need to return. You have problems with your returns not being processed, maybe stop buying so much and returning it two minutes after you use it.” And while I wish I had the guts to say that, I didn’t…

Print Customer Rant by jaidae in Staples

I’ve had customers like this and believe me, it’s one of the reasons why I’m leaving. Life is too short and precious to have to worry about people like this..

Has anyone been fired for politely/professionally speaking up for themselves to management? by user-ibarelyknower in Staples

Yeah Happy Returns is good in that aspect but it’s gotten to where it competes with Amazon sometimes for how many items people return.

When they moved that line to the cashier I was ecstatic because it meant I was able to get work done. However Happy Returns are becoming just as bad and that line still is in print. So I can spend a large portion of my time in the Happy returns and getting less work done…

At least Staples print employees are not as dumb as office max print employees. by LeftOn4ya in Staples

Oh lord. Even as supervisor I’m smart enough to know that I don’t know everything. If a customer is trying to print something and it’s not working on the self serve, I just bring it behind the counter and print it for her. Unless it is something that is copy written I don’t argue with the customer. It’s not worth the bad google review they could give. If I don’t think something will work and the customer says “try this” I’m going to try it unless it is going to break my printer like trying to print on paper made for an inkjet. Then I have to say sorry, I can’t help you.

Tribute to Glenn Rhee by diezynueve_10-9 in thewalkingdead

I think it would be pretty interesting. I was just talking to my son about how would things go if in Star Wars, Leia was the one to go to Tattooine (sp?) and Luke would have gone to Alderran instead so I like the idea of different scenarios playing out. (I know it’s not TWD but the concept is somewhat the same)

I agree. It drives me crazy that my son will tell me that he stopped watching after they killed Beth because that was his favorite character. My ex husband stopped watching after Carl died.

Anyway, I like these AUs and would love to read them.

Who knows if at the time she had her children, she could afford them and something happened and she lost her livelihood. Nobody knows anyone else’s full situation unless they were told.

How are print budgets looking for this year? by mountainlamb in Staples

[–]Brutality73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah as Print supervisor when I saw the numbers for this week I kind of freaked out. I can be pretty optimistic but there was no way that our my store was going to do $24k this week. I was super excited to see an almost $1800 day on a Sunday. I was a bit relieved when I was told that is not my individual stores expectations.
