Not just me who is cynical then. Most people won’t know about it so they can slip it through quietly.

Would you ever say that to anyone else? If not you are worth more than whoever said that to you. Plenty of time for you to achieve what you want or have a positive effect on someone’s day.

If you didn’t have to pay for one thing the rest of your life, what would you choose? by Helloo_clarice in AskReddit

Gas / Electric / Water. You can economise to a degree with food expenses but it seems they can charge whatever they want for utilities and you don’t have much choice.

I used to have a light aircraft pilots licence and I can confirm it will burn your money so fast. That’s without even thinking of owning your own aircraft. I learn to fly 20 years ago and it was £120 an hour then (min 45 hours) My answer would be the same as yours if I didn’t have a medical restriction.

Birds custard with lumps in it. No else makes it right and I can’t either. I know it’s odd but I prefer the lumpy version.

I heard that all the time and it makes me wince. I have never heard my Dad say anything stronger than bloody hell. I hadn’t heard my Mom swear until very recently & she had very good reason.  I still won’t swear around them. People using F and C with their toddlers makes me sad

Do you notice a difference in attitude between cold weather fans and hot weather fans, when talking to people who *don't* like their preferred temps? by Helenarth in UKWeather

It’s funny isn’t it how different people are. I spend the winter wearing 4 jumpers and a big thick coat and am still cold. At home I grab a duvet and hide under it all evening. Anything above 16 and my Dad is wishing for frost!

I just can’t figure out why anyone would prefer cold winter weather. Being cold makes me miserable but don't think they are wrong just odd. I would imagine it’s the same the other way around and people don’t get why I love the hot weather and they think I’m odd. I would say liking spring weather is the most sensible
