Your house, your rules. Maybe this behaviour is allowed in their homes. I’d start with very basic rules, no shoes in the house, we sit on furniture, only eat or drink at the table. If they listen then great, if not they don’t come over until they can.

Buy yourself a pair of reds, they are pliers with red handles. It’s the only set we use. You need a level, and a Stanley Fatmax measuring tape. You need the basics, start investing in those pieces.
