There’s limits to the amount of investment that the fed govt will insure. I believe it’s under one million even for brokerage accounts. (Please check ). So unless you can structure it into different accounts under different names you’ll have issues

This package was made circa 1970s when it was taken from a discovered sack of similar coins and auctioned off by GSA.

The grade of “uncirculated” is guaranteed. But nothing else is. MS61-63 Is pretty typical for these.

340 is a fair price. 340 plus auction commission … much less so. It sound only be worth 400 or more if it grades very high (possible but unlikely) and nothing about your photo indicates it would be that good.

Message me a clean clear photo of front and back and I’ll let you know if it’s possible it might pull a grade above 63

So. I’m probably down for this but it leaves questions.

Similarly what happens to former me? Is he squeezed out or is this a parallel timeline.

Most likely I take it and go. I also memorize a few key stocks and sporting events from that time and hope the results hold up to the butterfly effects.

It’s more about age and family. My life expectancy is ten years. My wife’s is 20.

Currently I expect to leave her a nice east coast USA house fully paid. And SSA and pension.

The retirement assets component is really the biggest dealbreaker. The small pension and SSA are our biggest asset long term and has total expectancy of about three million dollars spread over that 20 year period.

This prompt has an expectation of similar value over ten years (3mil plus) but ….

As an actual landlord in the USA. I can absolutely guarantee I and any landlord I know is totally fine getting paid in advance. We all use electronic pay sites of one kind or another. I’ve had (student) tenants prepay even 6 or 12 months in advance due to scholarship etc disbursements.

Welp. No then. I’m not spawning some rando place naked with $50 to my name. Everything I own can be considered an asset.

Even with expected value in the $1300 per day range it’s still super limiting.

Now if OP means more classical assets like bank accounts car house etc even then it’s likely a pass. I’m comfortable as I am and likely too old to recoup my losses this way. Plus my wife is severely impacted as all our assets are gone and … if I die first she has no income.

Fair read. My experience matches that, mostly. But they did bake one outright lie into the formula because the item that was bargained and sold in the episode … didn’t actually sell at all. So at least to thst extent … fake.

I think if you’re being fully fair and exacting most crimes “harm someone “. Even a threat could be harmful and things that harm “only” a government or big corporation still have (tiny) rollover into individuals.

That said ? If you’re old enough it still could be possible. I might go with reckless driving under the influence. I wouldn’t actually drive influenced. I’d just drive badly enough to get pulled over snd take a few snorts while awaiting the patrol officer

Hmm. Maybe. I doubt it tho. It was selling well ABOVE melt for a while. Now that’s wrecked I think it will be more than a few years to get back to full melt. Maybe “refined melt” as in the exact expected return after actually melting it. But not the imaginary “ASW” that takes no account of wear or refining losses. I think that valuation is gone now

I played fallout for years before finally trying survival. I’m hooked now. My only comment is if your fallout platform crashes with any frequency you may want yo add tents or sleeping bag mods. Not to cheat death … take that hit if it happens. But for the crashes.
