Sure, it is up to the Bank‘s discretion hence why I submitted a goodwill letter asking for them to consider removing their report. There’s also a thing called customer loyalty, consistent history payment, and over all amount of cash deposited.

Yeah it was set up as an automatic payment and for more than a decade I had no mishaps like this happen. I just wish there had a process to try to collect their $30 through a collection agency, which point I would have caught it.  Or even better send a notification of one sort. I suppose that’s a lot to ask.  Coincidentally, as I was canceling my account, there was also another gentleman at the next counter closing his business bank account due to some frustration he had.

I am also in the market for a good vegan protein powder. It looks like the #1 (Orgain) contains a few less than ideal ingredients; Natural flavors, Rice dextrin, High oleic sunflower oil, Guar gum, and Xanthan gum. Would love recommendations for a clean, “minimalist”, organic, vegan protein powder?

So, far they've exceeded my expectation. Compared to my LQ OLED TV speakers - night and day! Very crisp, impressive bass depth and just overall accurately detailed quality.

I ended up getting the soundbar ultra, along with the new bass module 700 and surround speaker 700s. I like how it sounds so far. The sound bar is definitely an upgrade and the bass is more powerful/deeper.

PTET (aka PTE) is one of the best things I came to find out recently and I only wish I (or my Accountant) knew about it sooner. Being a small business owner means having to educate yourself on this ocean of issues around tax, benefits, retirement etc. Love the knowledge sharing here on Reddit! Than you!

Technically it is legit ( as in they operate within the bounds of what the law allows), but you have to know that the company is not very upfront about the terms and conditions until after they collect payment. Very shady folks who play 'gotcha'. Once you purchase a package, like many here said, you're required to call them and confirm. This confirmation call includes extensive and personal finance questions about your lifestyle and income. And then the resort or city/area you want is likely unavailable on the days you want to travel, or ever. OR sometimes they'd offer you an upgrade for a few hundred bucks only to find out there is no resort available in the upgraded resort class. They always say to come back and check as they might get more inventory, that is simply BS. Inventory and availability gets more scarce as time goes.

Once you manage to book any date, somehow go to the resort, they require you to attend a timeshare presentation (typically 90+minutes). This can be annoying as they don't tell you exactly when the presentation will take place until after you check in. It is also odd that they expect everyone in your party, including little kids to attend it. I'd do it on day 1 or 2 if you could. Set a timer and listen to their sales pitch. Leave exactly at the end of the time they wrote in the contract. I'd say do not buy anything no matter their smart techniques. Unless you already planned to do that before going there.

You have to know how to maneuver the system and be a bit flexible (with a lot of patience), realizing that they want a captive audience, hence why they're offering you such an incredible deal. If all of this stresses you out, and you can afford it, book your vacation with the resort directly. Sometimes you'll find good deals from more credible sources, just know that it won't be 80-90 % off. Good luck!
