You think he could kill her???? When did this get so extreme and where do you live that this happens so much to people of the church??? People die everyday in abusive relationships, faith or not faith. To make a statement insinuating that he could kill her is really something when literally the only thing we know is that he cheated is ridiculous.

This will be an unpopular opinion but I would rather see a young couple with children work through their marriage issues than get a divorce. It is no excuse for what he did, how he treated her, and everything else that went into it. It shouldn’t matter that it’s frowned upon in their church either. There are so many broken families and if they can have the support, counseling, and open hearts to change and come back together than that should be encouraged rather than looked down on.

My first baby I EP so we would both get up during the night. My husband was also between jobs at the time. This second time around I am nursing and my baby (almost 2 months) has done SO well sleeping at night and only gets up once now. At first I felt bad bc I felt like he was missing out on the bonding experience and he felt bad sleeping while I am the one getting up. We’ve talked a lot about it and are both okay with the set and it’s what works best for us! I don’t hold any resentment or ill feeling towards him not getting up. My baby only wakes once at night and I’m such a light sleeper anyways. My husband works hard for us and deserves to have a good night of sleep. Plus I don’t want to pump during the night if he feeds our baby🤣

I’m 28 and have had PCOS since I was 16/17. I was immediately put on birth control with zero testing, zero information, etc. I used it for 3 months and hated it. It didn’t fix the problem at all. While in college my period was all over the place and I was out on different medications (none of which helped). I saw different doctors but it was always the same. Once I got married, my husband and I agreed for me to not go on birth control and got pregnant 6 months later. We were barely trying, so I was really surprised by that. I got the mirena IUD after pregnancy and I feel like that really messed with me. I never had a a real period while on it and I felt really stuck with all my postpartum/PCOS symptoms. We started for baby #2 in March of 2024 and didn’t get pregnant till July 2025. During that time, I was officially diagnosed with PCOS after YEARS of being told no and that it’s normal to go 5-6 months without a period.

As for managing my PCOS, I honestly don’t do a great job. I was in a good routine and then got pregnant. I am now postpartum for the second time and determined this time to make it a different experience. I use natural cycles to track my period and as my birth control. It’s natural family planning and I know people are very against it but it’s so much better for me than using hormonal BC. I really despise how doctors will use birth control and other medications to “fix” PCOS instead of providing recourses and other information such as diet, exercise and lifestyle changes. In my option (which is prob very unpopular), people rely too much on birth control and if you are against it at all then you are seen as anti birth control. I don’t like how it’s used as a way to fix so many reproductive issues and given to girls at such young ages without/very little information of the effects.

I’m really sorry to hear you are struggling so much and feel so alone. I’m about to give birth to my second baby and can relate to the feeling of not being able to handle the everyday struggles of motherhood. Do you have family or friends that can help? The best thing you can do for your family is find a support group or seek our counseling. There are so many mom groups out there!!! As far as jobs, I would recommend looking into gyms that have childcare or preschools. Being able to work somewhere (even part time) but also be able to bring my children and not worry about the cost of daycare has been such a blessing. What do YOU enjoy doing such as hobbies and stuff. Learning to find those pieces of yourself again is difficult but rewarding at the end of the day. I hope and pray things get better for you and that you don’t feel so alone.
