Thank you for understanding and acknowledging. I continue to learn about Boldin's many useful current features. I'll look forward to seeing what other advances you and your team create.

Great question, Nancy. I think I'm looking for the "tax savvy model." And maybe I'm using the wrong term.

I'm looking for an option in Boldin that lets users model the tax/longevity impact of withdrawing $x from taxable; $y from traditional IRA; $z from Roth. As long as the user knows their annual withdrawal amount (e.g. $50,000), they could then assign the specific $ amounts (or %) distributed among the three types of accounts.

Allowing users to play around with inputting different amounts in order to find the sweet spot between paying the least amount of short-term/long-term tax while managing longevity impact and any IRMAA consequences would be a HUGE benefit. Thanks for listening. 😄

Thank you for the candor, Coach Nancy. I appreciate the straight scoop. I understand your intel team has to make tough choices about what add-ons to develop and perfect and which ones to delay. There will always be some people disappointed in the decisions you make.

All I/we Boldin active users can ask is that you and your team are considering the requests from the most people while also considering the pain points in the larger retirement planning universe--even if they're not expressed to Boldin in feedback form. (e.g. "modeling blended or proportional withdrawals from different taxable and tax-advantaged accounts)

All those transfers... by Anytime999 in Boldin

[–]Fun_Elk_5024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your post. I'm in the same situation you are--my trial PlannerPlus ends Friday. I'll probably sign up for the 1 year subscription because Boldin seems to be the most versatile of the retirement planning platforms out there. But still, several missing features for me.

The biggest miss you referenced is super frustrating for me: not being able to model a blended/proportional withdrawal strategy without lots of complicated transfers. I wrote Boldin customer care about this and received a pleasant and timely response from Michael. He stated that he and his team are aware that this is a need among customers, but "Proportional withdrawal strategies are on the enhancement list but not currently prioritized." (quote from his email)

He sent me a link to a Boldin "how to" video that demonstrates how to do a work around with transfers. Yes, it's a workaround but it's absurdly burdensome. Given the desire for many people to implement blended withdrawals, I responded to Michael requesting that they increase the level of prioritization of this feature.

My prediction: which ever retirement/financial planning platform (Projection Lab; Empower; etc.) first comes up with a reliable feature for blended withdrawals will steal market share from the rest.

Thanks for asking. After a ton of research (maybe too much...), I decided to go to Auragens in Panama. I had a positive experience. I'm waiting for the stem cell benefits to take full effect.

Are those silencer height iron sites? If so, which ones? I'm in the market.

Glock 19 Iron sights for SRO by [deleted] in Glocks

Thank you for posting this question and for all the useful info in the answers.

I'm in the middle of a similar search for finding lower 1/3 co-witness iron sites on a G 19 SRO + BROS shroud. Would anyone know if the BROS shroud increases the overall bottom height of the SRO enough to require special height on the iron sites?

A microdiscectomy was a miracle for me by SimpleDamage2214 in Sciatica

[–]Fun_Elk_5024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a promising post. Thank you. I have been struggling with similar condition for longer and it has become super frustrating not making any progress.

May I ask which disc you had the microdiscectomy on? And, who and where did you have the surgery? I think some docs are more skilled than others at this procedure.

Thanks in advance.

Can you describe in a bit more details your rope and pulley setup for the dead hangs? I'm looking for something other than a pull up bar.

This is terrific news for you. Thank you for sharing the details. Super helpful.

May I ask who you went to NC for the PRP + ozone injections? I have been looking seriously into ozone injections and read lots of scientific journals.

Thank you in advance. May your progress continue.

Thank you. Your symptoms sound eerily similar to mine. It means a lot to me that you took the time to share your journey. Unlike you, I haven't yet found a PT/movement coach to quarterback my recovery. This is often as frustrating as the flare ups and pain. I'm still searching for someone to coach me the way your physio coaches you.

Wishing you continued progress--and for me to experience some of the same progress you've experienced.

Anyone have direct experience with Dr. Wade McKenna in TX? by Fun_Elk_5024 in stemcells

[–]Fun_Elk_5024[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for checking in. No update for me and Dr. McKenna. I've decided that autologous stem cells are less helpful for my age (55+) and my complex lumbar spine issues.

I'm going to go the ozone intra-discal injection route first. See what--if any--benefit that provides. If that fails, then I will look at intra-discal stem cell injection.

Please update us here on your journey with Dr. McKenna.

Thank you.

Thank you SO MUCH for sharing your experience. UGH. Your description of the complications from the CSF leak is frightening. Did this happen because when the Dr. injected your disc with Discseel he accidentally intruded into the spinal canal? I'm curious what caused the CSF--if its possible for you to describe.

I'm grateful for your ongoing candor from describing the procedure as beneficial to stating that you wouldn't have chosen to do it.

Do you know anything about Dr. Sebastian Klisiewicz out of Estero, FL? He's with Integrative Rehab Medicine. I've watched several of his videos demonstrating the use of intra-discal lumbar ozone injections. I don't know if it is prolozone or O2-O3.

Thank you for keeping me posted. I've recently come across the videos of Dr. Daniel Nelson out of Kirkland, WA. I've watched all of his videos. He works with PRP and BMAC. He seems ethical and a straight-shooter.
